Border rancher warns ‘public doesn’t get’ potential terror threat, says people from all over are coming across

According to an unnamed rancher who lives along the southern U.S. border in southwest Arizona, she has in recent months found Islamic prayer rugs on her property.

“There’s a lot of people coming in not just from Mexico,” she said during an interview this week with the Washington Examiner. “People, the general public, just don’t get the terrorist threats of that.”

“That’s what’s really scary. You don’t know what’s coming across. We’ve found prayer rugs out here. It’s unreal. It’s not just Mexican nationals that are coming across.”

Listen to her full statement below:

“I’ve talked to several agents that I trust … What Border Patrol classifies as OTMs has really increased in the last couple years, but drastically within the last six months,” she added, referring to criminal aliens from countries “Other Than Mexico,” e.g.,  Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, etc.

“Chinese, Germans, Russians, a lot of Middle Easterners, those Czechoslovakians they caught over on our neighbor’s just last summer,” she added.

Coupled with the discovery of prayer rugs, these findings raise valid concerns about Islamic radicals potentially using America’s porous border to sneak into the U.S.

Earlier this month NBC News obtained confirmation from U.S. Customs and Border Protection that six criminal aliens reportedly on the federal government’s list of suspected terrorists were apprehended along the border just between Oct. 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018, a span of only five months.

While NBC News and its peers in the liberal media tried to downplay this figure, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders noted that even just one terrorist is one too many.

“The bottom line is whether it’s one, whether it’s four, whether it’s fourteen or four thousand, one terrorist coming into our country in illegal fashion to do us harm is one too many, and we have to take every step possible to prevent that from happening,” she noted on Fox News last week.

Listen:

The Trump administration would like to try and prevent all criminal aliens from stepping into the United States by erecting an impenetrable wall along the southern border.

Though the evidence shows that such a wall could drastically reduce border crossings by making it significantly more difficult for criminal aliens — including potential terrorists — to make it into the United States, congressional Democrats nevertheless remain firmly opposed to it.

A government shutdown was triggered last month after congressional Democrats refused to back a spending bill that would have kept the government funded while also setting aside several billion dollars for the construction of the wall sought by the Trump administration.

Because of the lack of proper border security, U.S. Border Patrol agents have described feeling “overwhelmed” by the constant flood of criminal aliens crossing into the U.S. Ranchers such as the woman featured in the video up top understand this sentiment to a T.

Watch as she shows what criminal aliens have done to one of the buildings on her property:

Billy Darnell, another Arizona rancher with whom the Examiner spoke,  said that last year 18 women and children from the Philippines suddenly showed up on his neighbor’s property one day.

It’s because of these constant occurrences – random people from across the world (some of them potential terrorists) showing up at their doorsteps day in and out — that so many ranchers, including Jim Chilton, strongly believe a wall is indeed needed along the border.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

“Mr. President, we need a wall. I would say we need a wall all around all the length of the border,” he said earlier this week at the Farm Bureau Federation’s 100th Annual Convention in New Orleans.

“We’ve got to stop the drug-packers bringing drugs in to poison our people, and I would say to Speaker Pelosi, walls are not ‘immoral,'” he added, alluding to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent proclamation that the construction of a wall would amount to an “immorality.”

“In fact, I have traveled around the world. The biggest wall I’ve ever seen is around the Vatican. Now, you can’t tell me that the wonderful priests and officials of the Roman Catholic Church, including the Pope, are immoral. They have a wall. Why can’t we?”

Listen:

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has echoed this same sentiment several times.

“We’ve talked about the thousands — the thousands of terror watchlist individuals who traveled through our hemisphere last year,” she said on Fox News earlier this month. “To pretend there’s not a danger on an unsecured border, on an open border, is just ridiculous. It belies common sense.”

Everybody appears to agree:

Well, everybody save for the Democrats and their media allies.
