Former-Fox-News-host-turned-NBC-talk-show-host Megyn Kelly is officially unemployed and she remains wholly confident that she’ll be back on TV sooner rather than later.

“I don’t make any resolutions, but in terms of plans … you’ll definitely see me back on,” she said when asked Friday by a TMZ reporter about whether she’ll be back on TV soon.

She continued by noting that first she plans to get a new dog.

Cue left-wing tears in 3, 2, 1 …

In fact, the far-left have already been crying ever since NBC announced Friday that it’s reached a deal with the former host.

“The parties have resolved their differences, and Megyn Kelly is no longer an employee of NBC,” NBC announced in a statement to the media, roughly two and a half months after the network cancelled her morning talk show over allegedly offensive remarks she made about “blackface.”

Almost immediately after the cancellation of Kelly’s show in October, the controversial journalist hired a “bigwig lawyer” and began negotiating her departure from the network.

While the exact details of the deal she reached with NBC this week remain unclear, reports indicate she’ll be free to speak with other employers about work, and she’ll be leaving with the full amount that her original contract with NBC had entitled her to: $69 million.

Leftists who resent the former host for suggesting last year that children should be allowed to wear “blackface” or “whiteface” costumes for Halloween were not pleased by the announcement.

“Hard to overstate what an own-goal this was. NBC hires a privileged Fox conservative with a history of stupid racist comments, and it takes her all of a year and a half to get fired for stupid racist comments. And they still had to pay her $69 million,” leftist Gary Legum kvetched on Twitter.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Those were false allegations, as Kelly’s “history of stupid racist comments” is in reality merely a reference to allegedly controversial remarks she’s made in the past that were not actually racist.

For instance, when the then-Fox host rightly noted as per the evidence in 2016 that deceased Ferguson thug Michael Brown had triggered the series of events that led to his death at the hands of a St. Louis police officer in 2014, she was falsely smeared as a “white supremacist.”

Look at the backlash to the latest announcement below:

If these far-leftists feel this angry over the $69 million announcement, it’s unclear how much angrier they’ll feel when they find out that Kelly is fully intent on returning to TV this year.
