Katie Pavlich delivers Alyssa Milano brutal earful when she slams Trump for ‘wasting time at the border’

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., the democratic socialist tapped as “the future” of the Democratic Party, suggested it’s more important to be morally right than to be factually correct and left-wing activist/actress Alyssa Milano put action into words with a tweet that eschewed reality in the quest to attack President Donald Trump.

Not that Townhall news editor Katie Pavlich was about to let Milano’s propaganda go unchallenged.

Responding to the president going to the southern border Thursday to highlight the need for improved border security, Milano fell back on the old Democratic narrative of illegal alien children being separated from their families as being “the real crisis.”

“Why is Trump wasting time at the border advocating for a wall no one wants!?” she tweeted, electing herself spokesperson for 320 million Americans. “Reminder: children are still separated from their families. That’s the real crisis, and he created it.”

Milano conveniently forgets the practice of separating families when the parents are arrested for breaking US law was in place under the left’s messiah, former President Barack Obama.

She also overlooked the fact that Trump signed an executive order in June reversing the policy of separating families and allowing them to be detained together.

But that was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things conveniently ignored by the left and Pavlich did Milano a solid by jogging her memory and explaining why a visit to the border was a priority to Trump.

“Evil people are trafficking women and children into the US to serve as sex slaves,” she said in a tweet. “They’re also recycling children, repeatedly pairing them up with ‘parents’ in Mexico so they can falsely get into America. Shame you’re not interested in ending this horror.”

As we’ve already learned from Democrats, political goals and hating Trump come before acting in the best interests of the country, or the real victims in the battle of border security — poor migrants who frequently pay a dear price for making the dangerous trek across our porous southern border.

As might be expected, social media wasn’t too kind to Milano… here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
