Cher demands Dems give Trump the ‘f-ing money’ and ‘stop the f-ing shutdown’ in shocking tweets

A worn-out, exasperated Hollywood actress known for her anti-Trump outbursts has, it would appear, finally surrendered to President Donald Trump’s “tremendous” will … kind of.

In an astonishing tweet Wednesday afternoon, the actress known as Cher urged House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to capitulate to the president’s demands and fund his desired southern U.S. border wall.

But she didn’t post the tweet because she agrees with the president, with current/former U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials and with current/former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials that the construction of a wall would reduce illegal immigration.

She posted it out of concern for furloughed federal employees.

Writing in all caps, Cher specifically wrote that Pelosi should “LET HIM HAVE HIS F’KNG” money, lest furloughed federal employees “STARVE” or “LOSE THEIR HOMES.”

She posted the tweet at 3:44 pm EST, only minutes after Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer held a presser outside the White House following a meeting with Trump.

During the presser the duo claimed that the president had thrown a “temper tantrum,” had refused to negotiate with them and had slammed his hands on a table. These claims have since been disputed by others in attendance at the meeting, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

In another tweet posted about 30 minutes later, Cher accused Democrat congressional leaders of “PUTTING LIVES IN DANGER” as per their unwillingness to meet the president’s demand.

And in yet another tweet posted a couple hours later, Cher urged Democrat congressional leaders to “STOP [the] SHUTDOWN B4 TRUMP does,” lest he be made out to look like a hero, and Pelosi and crew conversely be made to look like “OBSTRUCTIONIST SWAMP SCUM.”

Though she later deleted the tweet, some Twitter users managed to capture a screenshot beforehand:

These tweets are stunning for the simple fact that Cher has been one of the most vocal anti-Trump voices in Hollywood, using every chance possible to disparage the president and his officials.

That she’s this concerned over the fate of federal workers shows her to be a compassionate woman. What remains unclear is why she doesn’t share this same compassion for the myriads of Americans who’ve lost their loved ones to illegal immigrant crime, as noted by social media:

As noted earlier, the only reason Cher posted these tweets was out of concern for federal workers. That’s certainly fine, but it does raise the question about why she’s otherwise opposed to the president’s plan to construct a wall along the southern U.S. border.

It’s also unclear why she’s uninterested in the opinions of those federal workers concerned about illegal immigrant crime who do wholeheartedly support the ongoing shutdown battle.
