Democrat Congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks the government shutdown should end immediately because her staff can’t get their taxpayer-funded, government-issued laptops to the “caseworkers” on her staff.
Ocasio-Cortez committed yet another comical gaffe while slamming President Trump to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.
In a dithering rant, Alexandra suggested that her primary job is to be a social worker — not a legislator — and that her entire constituency are basically illiterates who need help from her staff of caseworkers.
“I cannot tell you the amount of dysfunction that this President is advancing. We now have over 100 new members of this freshman class.
I cannot get even get laptops to my caseworkers in the Bronx and Queens so they can process the needs of our constituents…we cannot get mortgage applications.
We cannot get their case work started because we can’t even get laptops into the hands of our district offices because the president decided to hold the paychecks of everyday Americans hostage so that he can fulfill a campaign fantasy.
Ocasio-Cortez also slammed the 63 million American taxpayers who voted for President and support his wall by saying illegal immigrants are “acting more American” than they are.
“The women and children on the border that are trying to seeking refuge and opportunity in the United States of America with nothing but the shirt on their backs are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be.”
Ocasio-Cortez also blasted President Trump, claiming he got his facts wrong. Just two days ago, Alexandria told “60 Minutes” that it’s OK if she misstates facts because she’s “morally right.”
AOC told Rachel Maddow: “In the actual address, there was falsehood after falsehood. We have to make sure we get the facts straight.”
