Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a self-professed radical, wants to destroy the US economy with her “illiterate and ridiculous” tax hike proposals. That’s what former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino observed on The Five.
The media should focus more on dismantling Ocasio-Cortez’s laughable policy ideas instead of obsessing over her dance videos from college, said Bongino — the author of Spygate: The Attempted Sabotage of Donald J. Trump.
“She is talking to impressionable people who actually believe that confiscating the money of free citizens in the United States may work, like that outrageous proposal to tax people [at 70%],” Bongino said. “This is an economically illiterate, ridiculous proposal…She wants to destroy the US economy.”
The Five co-host Greg Gutfeld said it’s easy for Ocasio-Cortez to tout the theoretical merits of socialism because she lives in a cushy, insular bubble inside the capitalism center of the world.
“She is a card-carrying socialist inside the most successful economic system known to mankind,” Gutfeld remarked. “We should pick it apart and laugh about it. It’s better to go after her for her beliefs than anything else.”
Keep in mind that while AOC wants to raise your taxes, her $174,000 annual salary is paid by you — the US taxpayer.

There’s nothing wrong with being a bartender, but do you really want your bartender to make laws that you have to obey?
Guest co-host Kennedy was disgusted at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s abysmal lack of knowledge about the harmful consequences that her frothy ideas might have on her equally clueless fans.
Kennedy noted that CNN hack Anderson Cooper — who would be affected by AOC’s 70% tax rate — did not question the unfeasibility of her proposal.
“This is where Anderson Cooper had to push her and talk about the unintended consequences of 70% taxes on the wealthiest Americans,” Kennedy said. “By definition, they do pay more money in taxes because they make more money. You don’t have to tax someone at 70%.”
Liberals try to completely discredit “trickle-down economics.” They use the phrase, but they don’t really know what it means.
If rich people had less money to spend, that means they are investing less in companies. They’re not starting new businesses. And those new businesses are not employing people who desperately need to get into the work force.
When you shackle people with economic immobility, it’s one of the most immoral things human beings can do to one another.”
Liberal commentator Marie Harf — who worked for former Obama secretary of state John Kerry — agreed that the media obsession with Ocasio-Cortez is unwarranted because she’s basically a bimbo.
“She is a freshman member of Congress. Her ideas won’t be that important,” Harf said. “She will be one of a huge caucus. Why are the media [obsessed with her]? Why is she on “60 Minutes?” Why is she getting all of this attention? She doesn’t matter.”

Kennedy said it matters because Ocasio-Cortez is poisoning her young fans with communist propaganda by cheerleading for socialism.
Meanwhile, she goes unchallenged by the media, which find her cluelessness non-threatening and adorable.
“This is why this matters: You have an entire generation of people who have no idea about the consequences of socialism,” said Kennedy, who’s half-Romanian and half-Scottish. “My family lost their lives and their farms and fled to this country with a suitcase to escape communism.”
Reminder: Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly slammed Nancy Pelosi’s leadership, and vowed to vote against her for speaker of the House. But when the vote came to the floor yesterday, she folded like a lawn chair and toed the party line, proving that she’s all-talk and no-action.
