Elizabeth Warren didn’t just announce 2020 run, she declared war on Fox News in vicious attack video

Senator Elizabeth Warren blasted Fox News as an “echo chamber of fear and hatred” in a new video slamming President Donald Trump and his media supporters.

The Massachusetts Democrat announced in the new video released Monday that she is forming an exploratory committee for a possible 2020 election bid.

After a short recap of her journey from law professor to senator, Warren turns the biographical focus to the issues she has championed and will likely define her 2020 presidential run.

“Corruption is poisoning our democracy,” Warren said in the video over images of Republican leaders. “Politicians look the other way while big insurance companies deny patients life-saving coverage, while big banks rip off consumers and while big oil companies destroy this planet.”

The former Harvard professor and vocal critic of the president unleashed a scathing rebuke of those who have taken the country down a “dark path,” speaking as images of Fox News stars Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham flash across the screen along with clips of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, former Trump adviser Steve Bannon and current Trump adviser Stephen Miller.

“The whole scam is propped up by an echo chamber of fear and hatred,” she continued, with clearly no self-awareness. “Designed to distract and divide us with people who will do or say anything to hang on to power, point the finger at anyone who looks, thinks, prays, loves differently than they do.”

“This dark path doesn’t have to be our future,” claimed the senator nicknamed “Pocahontas” by Trump for her claims of Native American ancestry. Though she has not yet made a formal announcement on a 2020 presidential run, Warren promised to announce her decision “early in the new year.”

Warren’s obvious jab at Trump in the video without ever mentioning his name, while painting Fox News as practically a tool of hell, earned her scathing rebukes on social media.

The Media Research Center blog, Newsbusters, called out CNN’s Brian Stelter for his hot take.

Warren was criticized for the attack on Twitter where her potential candidacy was also mocked.
