Liberals continue to gush over Michelle Obama’s… well, interesting fashion choice while plugging her book this week at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Obama was rocking what was frequently referred to online as a (bright yellow) shower curtain that Big Bird would have been envious of, along with a pair of $4,000 Sequin Balenciaga Thigh-High boots — an outfit no one can seem to get over, for many reasons.
The fashion industry hasn’t been kind to Melania, but Michelle Obama can wear this and it trends on Twitter?

And when we say the left was gushing, take a gander at Glamour Magazine, which outdid itself… to the point of embarrassment.
But the real treat came in the form of her outfit for the evening, a full Balenciaga look so out of this world not even Princess Leia could have dreamed it.
Stars, suns, planets—stand down: The new center of our universe has taken her rightful place in the intergalactic realm. And she has on a pair of thigh-high gold boots so incandescent, scientists recommend the use of special sunglasses to gaze at them, lest we burn our retinas.
You simply can’t rival this kind of obsessed cult of personality, coming from the same hypocrites who make it a habit to ignore First Lady Melania Trump, a graceful former model whose beauty announces itself every time she walks into a room.
Heather Higgins, the president and CEO of Independent Women’s Voice, couldn’t help but call out the hypocrisy:
“All this gushing – from the same types of folks who criticized Melania’s shoe choices for being too out of touch. Can you say hypocrisy?” Higgin tweeted.

Fox News’ John Stossel too marveled over Glamour’s duplicity, tweeting: “Don’t they see the hypocrisy of their fawning.”

But then, outspoken conservative actor James Woods, as he often does, nailed it in his response to the shameful actions of America’s fashion magazines:

With so much happening on the political front, from a looming government shut down, to Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis resigning, to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg having cancer removed from her lungs, it would take something as bright as Obama’s outfit to shine through and that’s just what happened on social media.
The reactions go on forever, to include commenting on how she is treated in comparison to Mrs. Trump.
Here’s a sampling of some of the responses from Twitter:

This is so wrong!! The FLOTUS is very beautiful and elegant woman. Doing this things, ignoring her, show the Press true color and agenda against the First Family.

Who wore it better? Michelle or Melania? Politics aside, thinking fashion magazine industry needs to reevaluate not acknowledging that the current First Lady is gorgeous and lift the ban on featuring her! pic.twitter.com/1ii6CT4XWj

But income inequality and the 1%………

No they don’t see their hypocrisy… that would require linear thought…
— Bryce R Stefka (@brstefka) December 21, 2018
Of course not. Why would you expect anything different? They loathe this president so much they fall all over themselves on Obamas and do not care about being hypocritical. Beyond return!

Also, Melania dresses classy, Michelle…raincoat and glitter boots?!?
— Fernando Pages (@FPagesMiami) December 21, 2018
Didn’t her husband tell us that there comes a time when you’ve made enough money? I couldn’t imagine having $4,000 to spend on boots, if I did, I sure as hell wouldn’t have bought those hideous things.
