Kamala, libs triggered after Trump considers charge of $50 application fee for asylum seekers living in US

The Trump administration is considering charging a $50 application fee to process asylum applicants currently living in the United States.

The fee would not apply to asylum seekers who are trying to legally enter the United States through a port of entry, BuzzFeed reported. The fee would not be waived for those who can’t afford to pay it.

Naturally, liberals got triggered after intentionally misconstruing the rumor published by the left-wing BuzzFeed. Anti-Trump Democrats like junior senator Kamala Harris slammed the proposal.

Liberals continue to prioritize the needs of illegal immigrants over US citizens and lawful residents.

“It’s wrong,” Harris tweeted, after falsely claiming that the Trump administration wants to charge asylum seekers “a fee to receive protection in our country.”

No, it’s an APPLICATION FEE to process the countless asylum applications of alleged refugees currently living in the U.S.

It’s not a fee to provide protection — otherwise the “fee” would be a lot higher, since it would include lifelong access to US welfare programs. Keep in mind that illegal immigration costs US taxpayers more than $113 billion every year.

“We need to fight this.”

“HE. IS. LITERALLY. TRYING. TO. MILK. THE. POOR. AND. VULNERABLE.”

Democrats whining about this proposal say asylum seekers/illegal immigrants don’t have the money to pay the $50 application fee, all while ignoring that illegals often shell out $3,000 to $10,000 each to human smugglers to smuggle them into the US.

According to the New York Times:

“Homeland security secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, told lawmakers in May that migrants paid $500 million a year to groups fueling violence and instability in the region. A decade ago, Mexicans and Central Americans paid between $1,000 and $3,000 for clandestine passage into the United States.

Now, they hand over up to $9,200 for the same journey, the Department of Homeland Security reported last year. Those figures have continued to rise, according to interviews at migrant shelters in Mexico.”

Also, the US immigration agency is primary funded by fees, so why the sudden outrage?

“The immigration agency is primarily funded through fees received from immigrants’ applications, such as filing for a green card, work permit, or an application for a family member who wishes to come to the country.”

So basically, leftist advocates of illegal immigration think US citizens and legal residents should always foot the bill for foreign nationals, regardless of whether their asylum claims are bogus or not.

As BizPac Review reported, most illegal immigrants coming from Central and South America are not political refugees with legitimate asylum claims.

In reality, they are economic migrants who merely want to come to the US to live a better life — in which case, they need to get in line like everyone else and wait their turn.

It is they who are abusing the US asylum program to jump the line in front of actual refugees who need protection.

Let this sink in: Most of the illegals in the Central American migrant caravans stampeding toward the US border have refused offers of asylum and employment in Mexico, saying they want to come to the United States.

Then, there’s the disease and infestations the migrant caravans could bring into the country to infect your neighborhood. Perhaps we should set up a migrant detention center right next to Kamala Harris’ posh Washington, D.C. home.

In Germany, “refugees” mock native Germans for working so hard to support them while they sit at home and collect their government welfare checks.
