‘What is she thinking?’ Michelle Malkin absolutely shreds Nancy Pelosi for ‘the worst kind of pandering’

Michelle Malkin slammed “out of touch” Democratic leadership after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi praised Al Sharpton as America’s savior.

The California Democrat, poised to take back her old job as House Speaker, applauded the reverend at the National Action Network Legislative & Policy Conference on Wednesday, thanking him for helping Democrats win back the majority in the House.

“Thank you for helping take back America. People all over the place are calling me, writing, in airports, here and there, saying, ‘Thank you for saving America.’ I give those thanks to you. Thank you for saving America. Reverend Sharpton, thank you for saving America,” Pelosi said as she introduced Sharpton.

“Who knew that the midterms were a referendum on Al Sharpton?” Malkin fired off on “Fox & Friends” Thursday, adding how she is not surprised by something that only proves how “out of touch” the Democratic leadership is.

“I am not shocked, of course, of the diarrhea of the mouth that comes out of Nancy Pelosi,” the CRTV host said.

She blasted Democrats for “still kissing ring of the Godfather of racial hoaxes,” denouncing Sharpton as “a racially divisive charlatan” who as “an extreme and marginal figure” lacks a constituency and has “stoked the rhetoric against cops for decades now.”

“What is Nancy Pelosi thinking?” Malkin asked, suggesting it is a “calculated” move and “the worst kind of pandering” by the Democrat.

Pelosi is facing a “revolt” from several fellow Democrats who don’t want her as Speaker, Malkin explained. “This new generation, of course, which she has praised of these far leftists that are actually her worst enemy.”

“I’ve been saying it for years that Nancy Pelosi is, you know, one of the most gob-smackingly corrupt of the beltway swamp creatures. And anyone who was truly progressive would see that,” Malkin said. “I mean she’s one of the wealthiest members of Congress and why is that? It’s because of the perks of incompetency and power and the gavel she’s been able to wield when Democrats come back into power for last 20, 25, 30 years.”

“I think they’re finally seeing that and maybe some of these progressive leftists want to walk the walk and the talk of — of their socialist policies and extreme policies and hold the Democrat party’s feet to the fire on that,” Malkin said, adding that she was going to “pop the popcorn” and watch.

Never at a loss for delivering well-deserved, stinging commentary, Malkin was applauded on Twitter Thursday after her Fox News appearance. The conservative political commentator and author zinged Bobby Lewis of left-wing Media Matters for his animated gif of her, which he also did not tag her in.

Lewis responded with a visual comeback.

Not only was his ridiculous remark that Malkin was trying to remain “relevant” slammed by others on Twitter, Malkin herself took the progressive journalist down in her tweeted response.

Twitter users enjoyed Malkin’s torching of Lewis and gave the self-described “homosexual media monitor” a reality check in the wake of his cowardly tweet.
