Melania Trump publicly calls for deputy NSA to be fired: ‘She no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House’

Don’t mess with Melania Trump. That’s what Deputy National Security Adviser Mira Ricardel discovered after the usually stoic First Lady made the stunning move to publicly call for her firing.

Melania’s rep, Stephanie Grisham, released this terse statement: “It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she [Ricardel] no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House.”

Ricardel clashed with Melania’s staff during her October visit to Africa over airplane seating and the use of the National Security Council’s resources, according to multiple press reports.

Exacerbating the feud were rumors that Mira Ricardel had spread false stories about the incident to the media.

White House officials said Ricardel wanted to accompany Melania on her trip to Africa, but was denied seating on the First Lady’s airplane because there wasn’t enough room for her and her staff. As revenge, Ricardel reportedly threatened to not send any National Security staff along.

Sources say Ricardel also clashed with Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and spread false rumors to the media that Mattis had fallen out with President Trump and would be leaving his job soon.

Shortly before Melania called for Ricardel’s firing, reports surfaced that President Trump was considering reconfiguring his Administration now that the midterm elections are over. A fresh start would be nice, since a new year looms on the horizon.

Mrs. Trump is extremely protective of her husband and said she warns him about people on his staff that he should not trust.

“I give him my honest advice and honest opinions,” Melania told ABC News in October 2018. “It’s hard to govern. You always need to watch your back.”

Melania — the most beautiful and fashionable First Lady in U.S. history — gets viciously attacked by the media and anti-Trumpers around the clock, but said haters don’t get her down.

“I love Washington. I love to live there,” Mrs. Trump said. “We love to live in the White House. We are very honored to serve our great nation.”

The First Lady said she stays happy and fulfilled despite the constant negative press coverage because she focuses on what’s important to her: Being a great mom and a supportive wife who leads a meaningful life.

“I’m staying true to myself,” Melania said. “I want to live a meaningful life, and that’s the most important thing to me. I know what my priorities are and I’m focused on that.”
