Soledad O’Brien victim-shames Tucker Carlson. Backlash was immediate, but her message is chilling

Former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien was torched on social media after slamming Tucker Carlson as a “racist.”

Carlson commented about how some people “can’t say what they think because they’ll be punished,” following a violent Antifa demonstration last week outside of his Washington, D.C. home.

The host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” spoke with Fox News colleague Brian Kilmeade, calling into his own show from a previously planned vacation. He weighed in on the violent Antifa protesters who gathered in front of his house, terrifying his wife who was home alone at the time.

Instead of condemning the violent mob, organized by the Antifa group Smash Racism DC, O’Brien unloaded on Carlson in a tweet, essentially victim-shaming the Fox News host she accused of having a “white supremacist position.”

The backlash was immediate.

Twitter users reminded the 52-year-old television anchor that the race-card is “old and worn out” and she should be ashamed of attacking Carlson for having opinions that differ from her own.
