New York’s new AG caught on selfie video using profanity and threats against Trump: ‘He’s going to know my name …’

A woman just elected to serve as New York’s next attorney general has been caught on video speaking about President Donald Trump in a biased and profane manner not becoming of someone slated to hold so much authority in one of the most populous states  in the country.

Originally shared on social media over the weekend, the video shows New York Attorney General-elect Letitia James, a local politician who started out in the New York City Council 15 years ago, answering questions posed to her by what appears to be an avid supporter.

Listen:

“What would you say to people who say, oh, I’m not going to bother to register to vote because my voice doesn’t make difference, or I’m just one person?” the supporter asks.

“I say one name: Donald Trump. That should motivate you. Get off your ass and vote,” James replies.

When the supporter then asks her whether she plans to sue Trump, she answers, “Oh, we’re definitely going to sue. We’re going to be a real pain in the ass. He’s going to know my name personally.”

It’s not so much the language that bothered people as much as her clear-cut bias and animosity toward the president. An attorney general should maintain neutrality, seek out the truth and not tip the scales of justice in favor of one political side or another.

James’ rhetoric suggests she has zero interest in any of this, as noted by many on social media:

But by no means is James’ glaring hostility toward the president anything knew. In fact, she campaigned for New York attorney general by promising to take down the president.

“I’m running for attorney general because I will never be afraid to challenge this illegitimate president when our fundamental rights are at stake,” she said in a campaign ad recorded in September.

By “fundamental rights,” she meant the “right” for foreigners from any nation to travel to the United States, the “right” for law-breaking criminal aliens to live peacefully in the U.S. without fear of deportation and the “right” for “transgender” people to force their ideology on others.

“I believe that this president is incompetent. I believe that this president is ill-equipped to serve in the highest office of this land. And I believe that he is an embarrassment to all we stand for,” she said.

“He should be charged with obstructing justice. I believe that the president of these United States can be indicted for criminal offenses and we would join with law enforcement and other attorneys general across the nation in removing this president from office.”

Listen:

Her bias is stunning, though not necessarily surprising given the bias that’s infected all so much of society, including Hollywood, the media and in some cases the courts as well.
