Desperate to protect Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from either becoming too debilitated to work or dying, liberals rushed to social media Thursday morning to offer bones from their rib cage for donation after she broke her own ribs in a fall.
“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fell in her office at the Court last evening,” the Supreme Court announced in a statement early Thursday morning. “She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early morning.”
“Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment. Updates will be provided as they become available.”

Within minutes of this statement’s publication, liberals began offering up their ribs for donation.
“Ruth Bader Ginsberg can have my ribs. And my kidneys and a lung. And anything else she needs. She can even have my husband on Thursdays,” actress turned left-wing zealot Alyssa Milano tweeted.
An astounding number of others quickly joined her cause:
Ruth Bader Ginsberg can have my ribs. And my kidneys and a lung. And anything else she needs. She can even have my husband on Thursdays.

I try to donate blood a few times per year, but right now, I feel like it’s very important to donate ribs, specifically to octogenarian Supreme Court Justices. How do I coordinate that? #longliveRBG #RibsForRuth

Their concerns are twofold. First, they fear that Ginsburg might die, which would tilt the court even further to the conservative, originalist right. These fears are mostly unfounded given the tenacious justice’s ability to overcome any and all physical ailments.
“Ginsburg has had a series of health problems,” the Associated Press noted. “She broke two ribs in a fall in 2012. She has had two prior bouts with cancer and had a stent implanted to open a blocked artery in 2014. She also was hospitalized after a bad reaction to medicine in 2009.”
Second, they worry that the justice’s current injuries may keep her off the court while she recovers.
“Typical recovery time for broken ribs is about six weeks, according to WebMD, so it’s possible that Ginsburg could be back on the bench before the year ends,” McClatchy pointed out.
True, but according to the AP, Ginsburg has never once in her 25-year career on the court “missed Supreme Court arguments.” And given that the court reportedly won’t be hearing any additional arguments til Nov. 26, chances are she’ll be back in time for the next case.
While this certainly won’t please Republicans, who prefer that Ginsburg simply retire and thus allow President Donald Trump to appoint yet another justice, it should be music to liberals’ ears.
Unfortunately, they’re too busy at the moment trying to donate away some of the most vital bones in their bodies to notice that, hey, Ginsburg will be just fine:
My body is yours, RBG. #RibsForRuth

Hope you get and feel better soon, #RBG! We desperately need you to keep fighting for reasonable, fair, and unbiased rulings; not having you on the bench would be a disaster, now more than ever. Hope you’re back to doing what you do best soon! #RibsForRuth #GetWellSoonRBG

Who else would donate a rib to heal Ruth Bader Ginsberg? Count me in. #RibsForRuth

*facepalm*
Others think that if liberals really cared for Ginsburg, they’d urge her to just retire already and go leave the rest out of her life in peace and tranquility:
There is a trending hashtag #RibsforRuth
If the base said “it is okay. You dont have to fight anymore. Rest now.”
Rather than “take my pancreas and ribs and keep fighting!”

This isn’t the first campaign of its kind. In July, panicked liberals were offering organs of all kinds for Ginsburg when she announced she’d remain Justice for as long as she remains healthy.
