Ted Cruz hilariously clapped back at Jim Carrey on Twitter after the liberal Hollywood comedian mocked the Texas Senator as a blood-sucking “vampire.”
The mini-feud erupted after Carrey — a self-proclaimed socialist millionaire who lives in California — urged his followers to vote for Cruz’s Democrat opponent, Robert Francis O’Rourke — a white man who promotes himself politically as “Beto” O’Rourke.
Keep in mind that Ted Cruz — whose dad is Cuban — is the authentic Hispanic between the two of them.
“Go Beto! Go Democrats!” Carrey tweeted on November 5. “Vote like there’s no tomorrow.”
“Let’s make this Tuesday like the end of every great vampire movie. Pull back the curtains and let the sunshine turn all those bloodsuckers to dust.”
The “Dumb and Dumber” star’s tweet was accompanied by a cartoon of O’Rourke opening a window curtain as Cruz melts in the sunlight.

Ted Cruz, a Harvard-educated attorney, cleverly responded by noting that the joke’s on Jim because vampires are dead, and everyone knows that the dead vote Democrat.

“Hollywood liberals all in for Beto,” Cruz tweeted. “But (self-described socialist) Jim Carrey made a mistake here: Vampires are dead, and everyone knows the dead vote Democrat…”

A triggered Carrey then fired off an angry, profanity-laced rant that began: “Wow…sorry I rattled your chain, Ted Cruz.”
Wow…sorry I rattled your chain, @TedCruz. I thought you would have more important things to do two days before an election — like sucking up to the guy who called your wife ugly and accused your dad of murder. But I get it! It’s hard to say no when Trump grabs ya by the pussy!

Ever since President Trump took office, a motley crew of Hollywood intellectual lightweights have relentlessly attacked him, his supporters, and the GOP.
It’s unclear why Carrey — who was born in Canada and became a U.S. citizen in 2004 — doesn’t just return to Canada if he hates Trump so much.
Meanwhile, here’s a preview of what to expect as the midterm election results start pouring in today.
