Pamela Anderson weighed in on the #MeToo movement and the impact it’s having on men, and liberals are not going to like what the iconic actress had to say.
Participating in an interview with Australia’s “60 Minutes” Sunday, Anderson called herself a feminist, but drew a line when it comes to what she called the “third wave of feminism.”
“I think this feminism can go too far,” Anderson said. “I’m a feminist, but I think that this third wave of feminism is a bore.”
She then commented on the #MeToo movement, which has been weaponized by the left, noting that she’ll “get killed” for expressing her opinion.
“I think it paralyzes men,” Anderson said. “I think this #MeToo movement is a bit too much for me. I’m sorry, I’ll probably get killed for saying that.”
“You will,” journalist Liam Bartlett chimed in.
But Anderson, 51, was not deterred, going so far as to say “common sense” factors in when encountering sexual predators like Harvey Weinstein.
“My mother taught me don’t go to a hotel with a stranger,” she told Bartlett. “If someone opens the door in a bathrobe and it’s supposed to be a business meeting, maybe I should go with somebody else.”
And if you choose to enter the room, make it pay off.
“I think some things are just common sense,” Anderson explained. “Or, if you go in… get the job. I’m Canadian, I’m going to speak my mind. I’m sorry, I’m not politically correct.”
