Tucker Carlson schooled Mike Donovan — the convicted felon who’s bankrolling the lawsuit filed against President Trump for violating the Constitutional “rights” of 12 members of the migrant caravan en route to the US to demand entry.
In his lawsuit, Donovan claims that Trump’s promise to deport the illegal immigrants violates the Fifth Amendment right to due process. Earth to Mike Donovan: they have no legal standing because they’re not US citizens, nor are they on US soil.
“They are claiming rights under the asylum provisions of our statutes that affords them due process rights under that law,” said Donovan, the CEO of Libre by Nexus, a company that bails out illegals. “Of course, they have due process rights…Undocumented immigrants have Constitutional rights.”
ACTUALLY, only illegal immigrants who are on U.S. soil have some Constitutional rights. Illegals who are not on US soil are not entitled to due-process protection — especially if they’re storming our border waving the flags of their countries of origin.

Tucker underscored that members of the FOUR migrant cavarans marching toward the US are not covered by the Constitution.
“You are saying they have a constitutional right to due process, but they are not Americans and they are not on U.S. soil. They are hundreds of miles away from the United States.
They’re not here, so in what sense are they covered by our due process protection? This is insane and you know it’s insane! I just want you to admit that it’s insane.”
Donovan stammered back: “It’s not insane, Tucker. They are claiming rights under our Constitutional statute that affords them due process rights.”
Carlton retorted: “Let me correct you. They do not possess those rights if they are in another country and are not U.S. citizens…They are hundreds of miles away, and asylum claims have to be made on US soil — either at an embassy, consulate, or at the border.”
“That’s the law. You can’t actually claim that you are covered by the U.S. Constitution when you are not on US soil and you are not a US citizen.”
It’s unclear how much Mike Donovan knows about the law since he’s a convicted felon. Donovan is the CEO of Libre by Nexus, a bail-bonding company that helps jailed illegals post bail.
Before launching his company, Donovan served seven months in prison after pleading guilty to eight felonies, including larceny and forgery.
In May 2018, the Spanish-language channel Univision exposed Donovan as an unethical opportunist who abuses and takes advantage of needy illegal immigrants.
In a statement, the New York State Attorney General’s Office revealed that it received numerous complaints about Libre By Nexus (and its parent company, Nexus Services) for “disturbing reports of misconduct.”
The Attorney General’s Office said it’s looking into allegations that Mike Donovan’s company “is engaging in fraudulent, deceptive and illegal conduct…We are investigating whether Libre misleads vulnerable immigrants held in detention centers about the cost and nature of its services.”
So there you have it: A convicted-felon Pied Piper is leading a throng of illegals to invade the United States so he can get rich by providing bail-bonding and legal services to desperate people.
