Elizabeth Warren and bomb suspect get linked by social media users after claims don’t check out

Social media users are suggesting maybe Sen. Elizabeth Warren should set bomb suspect Cesar Sayoc up with the Stanford professor who ran her DNA test.

Because his employment with the Seminole Tribe is being disputed, folks are wondering out loud if he, like the Massachusetts Democrat, shares the dubious honor of being 1/1024th Native American.

It was revealed that Sayoc, who is suspected of sending more than a dozen pipe bombs in the past week, had in the past made some claims of Seminole heritage, with a Twitter account under the name Cesar Altieri speaking out as if in the name of the “Unconquered Seminole Nation.”

His Twitter profile also claimed he worked at the Seminole Tribe’s casino in Hollywood, Florida, as “Current Booking Agent/Sales/Marketing/Promotions/Project Mgr Live Events Seminole Hard Rock Live,” according to the Daily Beast.

That, the Seminole Nation of Florida, has flatly denied.

A spokesman for the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Hard Rock International found “no evidence” that Sayoc – or any of his alleged aliases – had been employed by them.

Sayoc, who has an extensive past arrest record, reportedly posted several tribal affiliation claims on social media in the past and, according to the Daily Beast, had started businesses, two dry cleaners and a caterer, he named “Proud Native American.”

He used his Twitter page, “Hardrock2016” and another Twitter page listed as “HardrockIntlent” to make Native American references, as reported by The Washington Examiner.

An an old arrest report showed him listed as an employee of “Hard Rock,” the hotel-casino owned by the Seminole Nation in Hollywood, FL.

But the Seminole Tribe of Florida continued to refute the claims.

The suspect had allegedly also aimed some of his Twitter attacks at Warren, mocking her claims to have Native American ancestry.

According to Daily Beast:

“Elizabeth Warren, Leftist FRAUD…She LIED about being Cherokee,” he wrote.

In one tweet, he posted a copy of Warren’s birth certificate, showing the entry for race was “White.”

Another tweet photoshopped Warren between two Native American historical figures with the words “DANCES WITH PERJURY.”

There did not seem to be any comments from Sayoc after Warren’s DNA test conducted by a Stanford University professor proved she, in fact, had Native American ancestor in her family “in the range of 6-10 generations ago.”

The Native American Journalists Association even issued guidelines on how to report on Sayoc in the wake of his Seminole heritage claims.

Twitter users enjoyed what Warren and the suspected mail bomber had in common.
