Secret Service intercepts bombs heading for Clintons and Obamas. Questions raised over who’s responsible.

The Associated Press reported Wednesday morning that a bomb was found at the New York City home of Hillary and Bill Clinton.

It was also being reported another bomb was sent to the office of former President Barack Obama.

The bomb sent to the Clinton’s was said to be similar to a bomb found at the home of billionaire George Soros, which is just north of New York City, 20 minutes from the Clinton home.

“An explosive device was found on Wednesday morning by a technician who screens mail for Bill and Hillary Clinton,” The New York Times reported. “The device was similar to one found at the home of billionaire philanthropist George Soros on Monday.”

The Times also reported that “a similar device was also sent to the office of former President Barack Obama.”

The Secret Service said in a statement that a second package addressed to Obama “was intercepted by Secret Service personnel in Washington, DC,” Fox News reported.

“The packages were immediately identified during routine mail screening procedures as potential explosive devices and were appropriately handled as such. The protectees did not receive the packages nor were they at risk of receiving them,” the statement said.

The bomb found at Soros’s “was constructed from a length of pipe about six inches long filled with explosive powder,” The Times reported.

New York Magazine’s Yashar Ali tweeted the bomb was not actually at the Clinton home, but at an address “miles away” where their mail is screened.

With no clues on who may be behind these acts, President Donald Trump and the Republican Party were immediately blamed:
