Snide comments about the First Lady earned an unusual invitation to the White House for a producer on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
The show’s executive producer, Andy Lassner, took a jab at Melania Trump Monday, tweeting that he is “more afraid” of “another Melania” entering the United States than the migrant caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border.
I’m way more afraid of another Melania getting in to this country than I am of any caravan of human beings seeking asylum.

The top producer sparked a Twitter feud with the White House director of communications for the first lady who tweeted back, inviting him to attend a children’s talk planned at the White House on kindness.
“Should I save you a seat?” the first lady’s spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, asked Lassner.
Hi @andylassner @flotus is hosting children at the White House today to talk to them about kindness … should I save you a seat? https://t.co/qi4AxqfRZI

Lassner fired back in a snarky tweet.
Yes!!
Will she be talking about how she pushed her husband’s theory that our first black president was born in Kenya?
What about her “I don’t care, do you jacket” worn while babies were being ripped away from parents at the border?
What time should I arrive?
Is it dressy? https://t.co/WFZWH3A2S9

Grisham advised him to “check your facts” in response to his comments, as the two continue to exhange barbs on Twitter.
You may want to check your facts before you get here, I’m happy to brief you upon arrival.

Says the woman who uses Breitbart as her main news source.

The first lady became a citizen after coming to the U.S. legally from her native Slovenia, unlike the thousands of migrants traveling in a caravan toward the border demanding the U.S. allow them entry.
But facts are lost on liberals like Lassner, a native of Colombia who’s also worked on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” and who seems to have a bit of a fixation on the Trumps and the first lady in particular.
How happy are you tonight to not share a bedroom with him, @FLOTUS?
— andy lassner (@andylassner) April 10, 2018
Hope you feel better, @FLOTUS.
Get some rest, heal up and then take your kid and run as far as you can.
— andy lassner (@andylassner) May 14, 2018
Maybe it was better when we didn’t know where Melania was.

Bless her heart https://t.co/4nDqr6VPAj

It’s unfair to keep harping on Melania’s high heels when there’s this ridiculous hat to talk about. pic.twitter.com/6et19Nz2Oi

But does she? https://t.co/WbEuqQe7XX

I know it’s immature and catty af, but I just can’t stop laughing at this ridiculous getup.
I’m sorry. pic.twitter.com/ZLe3Bd0OUV— andy lassner (@andylassner) October 7, 2018
Lassner’s latest attack on the first lady was slammed on social media a Twitter users called out the Daytime Emmy Award-winner for his disrespectful bullying.
Dude is a producer on a day time talk show and he has the nerve to talk about sources. We get it, you get your news from CNN.

What a big man bulling a woman. Bravo

Flotus seems to hold her own just fine with respect and dignity. Don’t let this disrespectful jerk step foot in the people’s house.
— David Canada (@davidjcanada) October 23, 2018
Such a class act Andy, keep it up. I’m sure you’re winning people over with this garbage.

Obviously, strong attractive women make you feel threatened. Get help.
— Farmer’s Daughter (@TobyandMel) October 23, 2018
Amen … takes an extremely weak man to continually assault (verbally) a woman – doesn’t matter who the woman is – it’s still wrong
