Andrew Pollack wants to “clarify” saying Democrats should ‘go to hell” but he has no intention of walking back his words.
Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was killed in the Parkland, Florida school shooting in February, posted a video addressing his controversial tweet last week slamming Democrats.
I just wanted to clarify my “Democrats go to hell” tweet. And no I don’t take back that statement. #FixIt pic.twitter.com/pLYZ404FOh

The father, who admitted he was never politically minded until he saw the direction the country was headed in 2016, said his previous tweet was just about “speaking the truth about what happened” as Democrats and their policies led to the failed system that allowed a shooter to take 17 lives at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Pollack told Democrats they could “go to hell” for failing his daughter and the other victims in a tweet last week following House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s visit with Parkland students and parents in South Florida.

Democrat policies, a Democrat sheriff, superintendent, school board, and teacher’s union ignored signs that shooter Nikolas Cruz was a potential danger to students, according to Pollack.
What/who failed my daughter:
•Dem policies
•Dem Sheriff
•Dem Super intendant
•Dem school board
•Dem teachers unionNow Nancy Pelosi is saying that if the Dems take back the House they will take away guns to honor Parkland victims

All of them put together lead up to my daughter getting murdered,” he said in the video posted Monday.
“When I put a tweet like that, this is the truth when I tell you what happened in Broward,” he said, urging voters to get to the polls on November 6 and to support Republican candidates Rick Scott, currently governor of Florida and running for the U.S. Senate seat and Ron DeSantis who is running for governor against Democrat and Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum.
Pollack recounted his life-changing experiences following the Parkland tragedy and how he was inundated with hate mail after a picture of him in a pro-Trump T-shirt the day of the shooting got negative reaction.
“That’s when all that hate mail started coming in on me from mostly Democrats – sick, demented Democrats – started writing me, attacking me for wearing a freaking shirt that had ‘Trump 2020’ on it when I was just finding out that my daughter was murdered,” he shared.
Pollack’s video explanation and refusal to back down from his attack on Democrats earned him much respect and applause on Twitter.
Thanks for your courage and bravery. God bless you.

@GOPChairwoman @Scavino45 @realDonaldTrump
Powerful, real-life statement. Speaks volumes
This father’s video should be seen across America.
And then someone should work overtime to hold people accountable whose actions/inactions contributed to his daughter’s death#FixIt

You have nothing to clarify or apologize for Andrew… We know the Democrats policies and failure when we see it… Unfortunately you and family got caught neck deep in it…

Your baby girl couldn’t defend herself on that tragic day. Keep her memory alive, by showing the Dems dirty politics have never solved a problem. I live in your area, and saw it strictly political from day one! My prayers r with you.

I’m sorry for your loss and can’t imagine the pain you have gone through or the deep wound their words to you at that time caused.
You do not have to explain yourself, if you were a Democrat posting that to a Republican you would be praised. I’m angry with you.
