Another day, another leftist attack on a Republican lawmaker.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was confronted at a Kentucky restaurant by some belligerent diners who screamed at him to leave.
The Kentucky Republican was dining with his wife, Elaine Chao at Havana Rumba in Louisville when the four men began to berate him about his stance on health care and social security, according to a TMZ video shot by a customer at the eatery.
“Why don’t you get out of here? Why don’t you leave the entire country?” one man shouted.
The woman recording the scene, who could be heard saying she was she was going to “sell it to TMZ,” later told the outlet that the “main aggressor slammed his fists down on McConnell’s table, grabbed his doggie bag and threw the food out the door of the restaurant.”
Other customers came to his defense, yelling at the men to leave the Kentucky lawmaker alone. Chao argued with the protester while McConnell nonchalantly sipped his drink and said nothing.
McConnell reportedly “kept his cool,” according to TMZ and “afterward thanked some of his supporters, shaking their hands.”
Once again, conservatives being attacked by unruly liberals following the rallying cry of Democrats like Rep. Maxine Waters and Sen. Cory Booker, show class in confrontation. McConnell now joins the ranks of other Republicans like Sen. Ted Cruz, Secretary Nielsen and White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders who left restaurants due to angry liberals.
Looks like as much as Democrats may hate it, President Trump’s new slogan is not only catchy, it is regularly reinforced by their actions.
