First Lady Melania Trump dismissed allegations of her husband’s affairs in an interview clip that aired Friday, saying she has more important things to think about than nefarious allegations.

“It is not concern and focus of mine,” Trump said when asked if the allegations of her husband’s alleged affairs has put a strain on their marriage. “I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do,” Trump said in a clip that first aired on “Good Morning America,” Friday.

“I know people like to speculate and the media likes to speculate about our marriage and circulate the gossip … and unfortunately we live in this kind of world today,” Trump added.

She made her comments in an interview with Chief National Affairs Correspondent Tom Llamas while on a solo tour in Africa.

“It’s not always pleasant of course, but I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true and not true,” Trump said, responding to Llamas’ question about whether the swirling gossip has hurt her.

Her comments come after porn star Stormy Daniels alleged that she had sex with President Donald Trump despite not being attracted to him because she had felt trapped in the hotel room they occupied, according to National Public Radio. She alleges the incident occurred when she was 27 and he was 60 years old.

She made clear, however, that the sex was consensual. She also said Trump did not wear a condemn and compared her to his daughter.

Daniels also alleged that Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen had paid her $130,000 to keep the affair quiet. Trump later admitted to paying the money, but insists that they never had sex.

Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avennati, represented the porn star in the ongoing battle between Daniels and the president. He also represented Julie Swetnickwho accused newly appointed Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.
