‘Always need to watch your back’: Melania gets real on bullying, says she still can’t trust everyone in the WH

Because of the treatment she’s received from Hollywood, liberal Democrats and the left-wing media, first lady Melania Trump feels like one of “the most bullied” people on Earth.

“I could say I’m the most bullied person on the world … one of them, if you really see what people [are] saying about me,” she explicitly said when asked during an ABC News interview this week about what had inspired her to launch her “Be Best” campaign to stop bullying and cyberbullying.

She wasn’t wrong. The media have falsely accused her of being a former high-price hooker, falsely accused her of maliciously removing a historical tree from the White House grounds and falsely accused her of not being “culturally American.”

The celebrities in Hollywood have likewise called for her son, Barron, to be ripped from her arms and put in a cage “with pedophiles,” mocked her foreign accident and threatened to pimp her.

Listen to her statement to ABC News below:

During the interview Melania also took a jab at some of her husband’s administration officials, telling ABC chief national affairs correspondent Tom Llamas that there are people in the administration that President Donald Trump “can’t trust.”

“Yes,” she pithily replied when Llamas whether her husband has “had people that you didn’t trust working for him.”

Listen:

“You always need to watch your back. It’s harder to govern,” she added in another portion of the interview, according to CBS.

Again she was 100 percent right. Her president’s tenure in the White House has been marked by repeated leaks from veritable “Deep State” villains hellbent on undermining his policy prescriptions. Just last month one anonymous Trump administration official penned an op-ed for The New York Times claiming to be a member of the so-called “resistance.”

“(M)any of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations,” the still anonymous official had written. “I would know. I am one of them.”

Dovetailing back to Melania’s remarks about feeling bullied, the left’s reaction to her statement served to prove her point to a T. Instead of empathizing with her frustration, which is what genuinely good people would have done, liberal Democrats pounced.

Look:

One young woman with a giant following did what modern-day leftists do best and wallowed in victimhood, declaring their alleged experiences as the only real and relevant “pain.”

While sad, this attitude isn’t shocking. Liberal Democrats are the same people who cheered when the leftist media ran hit pieces this week that described White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller’s as having been a “lonely” and “strange” child.

This isn’t to say that there aren’t conservatives who treated former President Barack Obama, former first lady Melania Trump and their administration officials similarly. There certainly were. But whereas they represented a fringe, the type of liberals seen above seem to represent the majority.

Almost every day another story breaks about a liberal bully or group of liberal bullies who harassed a conservative, attacked a conservative or threatened a conservative.

The point is that while Melania may not be the most bullied person on Earth, the bullying is indeed real. And while leftists are allowed to mock her for feeling bullied, they ought to be aware that doing that makes them bullies as well.
