Fox News host Tucker Carlson had a fiery exchange with Cesar Vargas, a former illegal alien who thinks all illegal immigrants currently in the United States should be allowed to vote. In the same breath, Vargas accidentally admitted that many illegals do not pay taxes.
Carlson cited a new study indicating that there are about 22 million illegal aliens in the country — twice the popular estimate of 11 million. “You want to give all of them citizenship and voting rights? Are you for that?” Tucker asked.
Vargas heartily said yes, and then touted the booming Trump economy as a rationale, saying the U.S. economy is doing so well it can afford to financially support millions of illegal immigrants.
“Absolutely! No question,” Vargas replied. “Look at the economy. We are doing pretty well: 3.7% unemployment rate. 4.2% economic growth. We [have] 22 million undocumented immigrants now and we are doing well economically. I say [let’s give them] a path to citizenship. Let them pay taxes and we’ll have a better economy.”

Carlson then pointed out that Cesar Vargas just admitted that illegal immigrants are not paying taxes.
So in other words, they’re sponging off hardworking American taxpayers but are contributing nothing to the U.S. economy.
“Slow down. Wait. Hold on,” Tucker said. “You are conceding they are not paying taxes now? Having talked to you many times, your argument has always been that they pay in the system more than they are taking out.”
Vargas and Carlson then got argued about whether illegals pay taxes or not.
Tucker concluded by saying it’s insanity to give 22 million illegals the right to vote because then Democrats would control the U.S. government and run it into the ground.
“I just want our viewers to understand the agenda of lunatics like you. You are saying 22 million brand-new voters in our electorate, out of nowhere, here illegally and now they can vote.
90% of them will vote for the Democrats. What you’re saying is that one political party will have a hammerlock on national elections forever. What do you think the rest of us think about that?”
Vargas responded, “Why don’t the Republicans and the Democrats compete for the vote and let people have their say? This is what democracy is all about, right, Tucker?”
Carlson shot back: “Yeah, letting foreigners invade your country and take over your government. That definitely sounds like democracy to me.”
Patriots, please vote on November 6. America’s future depends on you.
