Kellyanne Conway takes the gloves off, thanks all those ‘crazy liberals’ for energizing the GOP

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway expressed her gratitude to the “crazy liberals” who have sparked a renewed energy among the Republican base just weeks before midterm elections.

Conway made the remarks in a discussion with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham over the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination and the antics by Democrats to prevent or delay his confirmation.

Conway pointed out that Democrats – especially in red states – have to decide whether to follow the will of the people and vote to confirm Kavanaugh or if they want to be “complicit with the process that has been fraught with hysterics and hyperbole and hyper-partisanship with hapless Democrats trying to undo election results from two years ago, trying to slow down this nomination.”

“They own all those protesters if they vote against Judge Kavanaugh,” she added.

Ingraham played a video clip of Connecticut Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal who said the White House “straight-jacketed” the investigation and the FBI was “not responsible.” Ingraham noted that the left and the protesters were saying essentially the same thing about the supplemental FBI investigation into allegations against Kavanaugh.

“Well, he is lying and of course he has a history of not being able to tell the truth,” Conway said about Blumenthal.

“He lied about his service in Vietnam. He didn’t serve in Vietnam he served during Vietnam. And that’s not just the difference of a word,” she said. “He should definitely stop lying about the FBI and this investigation and what the White House did or didn’t do.”

Conway pointed to senators who previously were on the fence about their vote for Kavanaugh but have since come out to say, like Sen. Susan Collins, that the FBI report was “very thorough.”

“There is no nominee that President Trump is going to put forward that’s gonna satisfy liberal Dick Blumenthal. There’s no nominee that Code Pink would ever like,” she argued.

“Speaking of the midterms, I want to thank all these crazy liberals because they have done something that wasn’t able to do, they have energized disparate Republicans from the ideological spectrum,” she interjected.

“There is no question about it it. These folks have a right to protest,” she added. “The First Amendment says you can act crazy also.”

Viewers, some reluctantly, had to admit Conway was right about protesters energizing the GOP base. In fact, recent polls have shown that the smear campaign against Kavanaugh has come back to bite Democrats who are seeing a major backlash from Americans.
