If we would have reported in July when President Donald Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court that his confirmation to the high court may hang over the word “boofing,” you would have thought we were crazy.
Nearly three months later, amid a deluge of accusations being leveled against one of the brightest legal minds in America by Democrats, to include a claim he came close to inadvertently killing a young girl and that he was a serial gang rapist, we now see the Resistance calling on the FBI to investigate what “boofing” means.
Op-ed from me & @cdkang76:
Why the FBI should investigate 'boofing' — and the other petty lies Kavanaugh may have told the Senate under oathhttps://t.co/LQaCCkAMl4

CNN political commentator Brian Fallon, who was Hillary Clinton’s press secretary in her failed 2016 presidential bid, co-wrote a Politico op-ed with Christopher Lang, who served in the Obama White House as deputy counsel, calling for the feds to get to the bottom of “boofing.”
Senate Democrats, the architects of the shameless hatchet job launched against Judge Kavanaugh to destroy his name, took great interest in the musings of high school boys, as seen in the nominee’s yearbook.
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-N.Y., zeroed in on an entry by Kavanaugh that used the word “boofed,” expressed skepticism when the judge explained it was a reference to “flatulence.”
“We were 16,” Kavanaugh said.
The left’s premise being that “boofed” must be secret code for something far more sinister. Like sex.
Of course, this has lead to accusations that Kavanaugh was lying about the meaning of the word, so down the path some went.
Some of you Urban Dictionary scholars appear to believe that the definition of 'boof' alone proves Kavanaugh guilty of lying to Congress. Would like to see actual history of the term. Nexis from 1980s sheds no light… pic.twitter.com/bWZzpaVVWm

In the end, this development epitomizes what an utter disgrace the confirmation process has become in America at the hands of the progressive left, who hang their hats on the belief that the ends justify the means.
Here’s a sampling of responses to the lunacy from Twitter:
I’m not going to be lectured to by “boof sleuths” who hand-wave away the fact that none of Ford’s named witnesses corroborate her account.

Well, it’s pretty clear that none of you buffoons get how infantile and stupid you sound saying this crap. You’re an utter disaster. A dumpster fire of EPIC\BIBLICAL proportions.

Ultimately, one social media user may have the answer to what a “boof” really is:
