Soros setup: ‘Victim’ screaming at Flake in elevator is Co-Exec. Director of Soros-funded organization

It’s almost no surprise to find that the women who confronted Sen. Jeff Flake in an elevator claiming to be sexual assault victims were actually George Soros-funded activists.

The screaming leftists cornered the Arizona Republican at the US Capitol Friday morning as he made his way to the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing where, he’d just announced, he would be voting to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

With Flake trapped in the elevator, the women berated him for his intended vote supporting Kavanaugh, screaming, “This is not tolerable!”

“You have children in your family. Think about them! I have two children. I cannot imagine that for the next 50 years they will have to have someone in the Supreme Court who has been accused of violating a young girl. What are you doing, sir?!” one of the women yelled while blocking the elevator door.

Flake silently listened, nodding occasionally before escaping to the Committee hearing where, after private meetings with Senate Democrats, he gave the left what they wanted. Flake announced to the panel that he would only vote for Kavanaugh if the Senate vote was delayed and another FBI investigation was allowed to be conducted.

And as liberals cheered the news, it was soon clear that the screaming women by the elevator were actually Soros-funded astroturfed activists.

Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher were seen in a photo celebrating.

Archila is the co-executive director for the left-wing group, Center for Popular Democracy and the Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund, which is heavily funded by Soros. Her Twitter feed has no mention of her sexual assault narrative but is filled with activist photos and videos.

She wrote about the showdown with Flake on the CPD website.

“Shortly after, CNN reported that Flake was visibly shaken after his encounter with us. Our words, and the words of thousands of women who have shared their stories, moved him,” she wrote.

“George Soros is one of the largest funders to the CPD. Soros provided the CPD with $130,000 from the Foundation to Promote Open Society in 2014 and $1,164,500 in 2015. Soros provided an additional $705,000 from the Open Society Policy Center in 2016,” the Free Beacon had previously reported.

Naturally, after their stunt the women were inundated with interview requests.

“People need to know that when they take action, when we take action together, when we force our electeds to listen to our stories, that’s how we actually change this country. . . . That struggle looks like this: regular people doing really scary things, things that make them cry, that sometimes scare their families,” Archila told The Washington Post Friday.

The Post indicated that the women were, indeed, sexual assault survivors and that Archila’s family did not know of her experience until the confrontation with Flake.

“I feel like in that forceful demand, he was called to examine his position again. . . . He heard something that provoked turmoil in him,” the 39-year-old native of Colombia said.

She also reflected on the encounter in a video and in interviews.

The left celebrated their new heroes and the effect they had on Flake.

But many others found the planned confrontation and the Soros-backing telling and condemned the encounter on Twitter.
