He expected gratitude? Women’s March org. shows thanks to Sen. Flake by calling him ‘rape apologist’

In response to Sen. Jeff Flake “cowardly” decision to kowtow to Democrat demands and effectively delay Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s final confirmation vote, a radical left-wing group has labeled him a “rape apologist.”

“Every @SenateGOP member of the judiciary — including @JeffFlake — voted to support moving the confirmation to Brett Kavanaugh out of committee and to a full senate vote,” the Twitter account for the radical Women’s March, which has received widespread praise and support from the mainstream media, tweeted Thursday afternoon.

“Flake claims he won’t support Kavanaugh without an FBI investigation, but still voted to recommend him…,” the unhinged left-wing activist group added in what was one of a whole series of inane tweets.

During a Senate Judiciary Committee vote Thursday on whether to forward Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Senate floor, the Arizona senator stipulated that he’d only vote “yes” if certain conditions were met. The conditions were that a 1-week FBI investigation be launched to determine whether the SCOTUS nominee had sexually assaulted accuser Christine Blasey Ford in high school decades ago.

Conservatives have opposed wasting time on an additional investigation because nothing Ford has claimed has held up to scrutiny. Her polygraph test was riddled with contradictions, her corroborating witnesses have denied her claims and she’s been unable to identify when/where the attack occurred.

Because of these issues with Ford’s unsubstantiated allegations — as well as valid concerns about Democrats purposefully plotting to delay or stop Kavanaugh’s confirmation at any cost — Republicans believe the Senate should simply vote on his confirmation already and be done with everything.

Flake initially agreed with his fellow senators until two Soros-funded activists cornered him in an elevator Thursday and apparently made him feel bad for wanting to do the right thing:

Democrats have have tried relentlessly for weeks to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation, and thanks to Flake’s decision Thursday, they got some of what they wanted.

And yet the most radical elements of the left still hate him. There’s a lesson to be learned in all this, as noted by many on social media:

Will Flake learn his lesson? Judging by his past behavior and rhetoric, the answer is no.

During Friday’s podcast of his weekday show, Fox News radio host Tom Shillue speculated that Flake is someone who craves “to be loved by everyone.”
