Union leader at labor rally attended by Durbin & Pritzker: ‘Vote often, whatever you can get away with…’

During a “labor rally” Saturday in Illinois attended by a number of top Democrats a labor union official essentially urged locals to commit voter fraud.

In attendence were Sen. Dick Durbin, gubernatorial nominee J.B. Pritzker and St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly among other local Democrat politicians, according to the Madison Record.

“We got a great candidate for governor, J.B. Pritzker,” local union leader Totsy Bailey told a crowd of laborers at the event in Caseyville, St. Clair County. “He’s going to win. He’s gonna win big, but he won’t he won’t win if we don’t get out and vote. We need to early vote … vote often, vote early, whatever you can get away with. I shouldn’t say that. I really don’t care.”

There’s no such thing as voting often, except in the case where a primary election precedes either a midterm election or general election. In Pritzker’s case, he already won the Democrat primary in March, meaning anymore than one vote would be clear-cut voter fraud, not that this appeared to faze Bailey, his audience or the Democrats who were present in the slightest.

His stunning rhetoric did bother a number of Republicans, including those in the Illinois GOP.

“This is yet another example of the corrupt and unethical behavior celebrated within the Illinois Democratic Party and Brendan Kelly’s campaign,” the party’s spokesperson said to the Belleville News-Democrat. “Voter fraud is nothing to joke about. It is despicable that Brendan Kelly, the person within the county most entrusted with the responsibility to defend our democracy against this fraud, would stand by while such crime is encouraged by one of his key supporters.”

Kelly, the county’s state’s attorney, replied with a blasé statement claiming he didn’t hear the comment and urging anyone who observes election misconduct to call the state’s corruption hotline. The problem, according to local attorney Paul Evans, is that even those employed with the hotline don’t seem to take the issue seriously.

“My frustration is that when we try and bring this to the attention of persons in authority – there is a lack of interest,” Evans, who’s reportedly been involved with voter integrity initiatives for six years, said to The Madison / St. Clair Record. “I am told to contact the voter fraud hotline. Nothing ever happens.”

The most likely reason “nothing ever happens” is because Democrats refuse to even admit that voter fraud exists, let alone poses a threat to the country. They apparently prefer instead chasing after Russian bogeymen, despite the Justice Department having confirmed that longtime efforts by foreign operatives to affect the outcomes of U.S. elections have been unsuccessful.

When President Donald Trump tried to address his concerns about voter fraud after the 2016 presidential election, Democrats mercilessly mocked him, while Democrat state officials refused to comply.

And here now in late 2018, only months away from the next major election, a Democrat union leader has been urging locals to “vote often” — and all in the presence of one of country’s most powerful Democrats, Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin. It would be stunning if it weren’t so typical:
