Avenatti explodes when he learns what was seen, but not heard throughout explosive Tucker segment

When attention seeking attorney Michael Avenatti agreed to sit down with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, the question wasn’t if the interview would go off the rails, but when.

And as spirited as their exchange proved to be, it wasn’t until after it was over that the attorney who represents porn star Stormy Daniels got a full taste of what he was in for and, boy, was he unhappy.

Throughout the interview, Fox News displayed a chyron that labeled the creepy porn lawyer as a… “creepy porn lawyer.”

Avenatti would later respond to a tweet from BuzzFeed editor Chris Geidner that had snap shots of the chyron, tweeting: “Disgraceful. Garbage host. Garbage network.”

Responding to another tweet highlighting the chyron, Avenatti complained Carlson told him there would be no “name calling,” and then called the Fox News host “a liar” on the same scale as President Donald Trump.

“Yes. After he told me that he was not going to engage in “name calling.” This is why so many people correctly conclude that @TuckerCarlson is a liar, just like Trump.

The same man who parlayed representing a porn star, who went against a signed agreement to remain quiet — in exchange for $130,000 — about an alleged sexual encounter, into national celebrity status, to include toying with a 2020 presidential run, then dared to complained about professionalism.

“The extent there was any doubt as to the lack of professionalism of @TuckerCarlson or @FoxNews before tonight, there is no longer,” he tweeted. “What happened with the chyron tonight was a disgrace. Complete garbage – trash television. A new low.”

And while Avenatti and the liberal anti-Trump media may not have been thrilled with the choice of monikers “Tucker Carlson Tonight” ran with on the chyron, social media users seemed to have a whole other take.

Of course, the devil is in the details when it comes to agreeing to the interview, and you would think, being a lawyer, that Avenatti would have ensured an understanding was in place on what the network would display on screen while he was on air.

And, taking it for granted that Carlson knew what his guest did not, it would appear the Fox News host was trolling Avenatti before millions of viewers — not that Carlson wasn’t up to doing it face to face, as seen in his reaction to being asked by Avenatti if he ever watched porn!

More entertaining television you will not find. Here’s a sampling of other reactions from Twitter:
