‘STFU SUSAN!’ Susan Sarandon triggers Debra Messing BIGLY with one little comment about Trump

While liberal actress Susan Sarandon is no fan of President Donald Trump and his policies, her willingness to at least look at the bright side of Trump’s presidency was enough to trigger massive backlash from unhinged leftists, including fellow actress Debra Messing.

Sarandon offered her optimistic outlook after being prompted by a Variety reporter this week to assign Trump a grade for his performance as president.

She declined to offer him a grade, instead equating Trump to a “bumbling” cartoon character, albeit one whom she nevertheless admitted wasn’t entirely responsible for the allegedly bad policies that have been enforced since his inauguration in 2017.

“In all fairness to Trump, this stuff was all laid in place over the last 12 years,” she said. “I mean, this didn’t just suddenly happen. Democrats were losing thousands and thousands of seats and all these things were put in place, and people were being deported and there was many many wars, and all that was happening.”

True. Take the separation of illegal immigrant children from their illegal immigrant parents. Despite the media’s disingenuous attempts to pin the blame for this policy on Trump, it actually began under the administration of former President Barack Hussein Obama.

Sarandon then pivoted to the positive aspects of the Trump administration, arguing that it’s inspired more women and “people of color” to run for office than ever before.

“I think 40 percent more women are running for office and becoming elected,” She said. “We’re on the verge of having the governors of Florida, Georgia and Maryland be people of color and one woman. This is a revolution.”

That’s a fair enough perspective, assuming of course you judge political candidates by their race or gender versus their policy positions. And yet, though her fellow leftists undoubtedly see everything through the lens of racial bias, they have lashed out en masse against these remarks she’d made.

Why? Because they resent Sarandon giving Trump any sort of credit. And because they also resent her decision two years ago to eschew voting for then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton — whom she’d described as “very dangerous” — in favor of Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

The deranged leftist who’s been most critical of Sarandon’s voting record (God forbid someone not vote the way the fascist left desires) has been Messing. And wouldn’t you know it, the temperamental actress was one of the first people to stomp on Sarandon following her interview with Variety:

Look:

Catastrophe of a president? Interment camps? Taking away women’s access to health care? It’s unclear whether she lives in an alternate universe or she’s just clinically insane and in need of Prozac.

What’s rather depressing is that so many other liberal Democrats agree with Messing’s totally fictional and quite messed-up outlook, no pun intended:

Meanwhile, as these leftists are busy crying over fictional injustices, the rest of the nation is living-it-up courtesy a booming economy, a record low unemployment rate and skyrocketing wages.
