‘Monkey’ this! montage: Here’s how often liberal media minions loved using the so-called ‘dog whistle’

Monkey see, monkey do. That old saying couldn’t be more fitting to describe the liberal media.

As the unofficial end of summer came to a close over Labor Day weekend, the media accountability checkers at Media Research Center put together a montage of the many times celebs, politicians and the liberal media used the term “monkey” to pontificate politics.

The telling video was in response to the media’s decieving and knee-jerk reaction over Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis use of the term “monkey this up” to describe the disaster it would be to implement a socialist economy as his Democrat opponent, who happens to be black, is fighting for.

“The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state,” DeSantis said of his opponent Andrew Gillum’s socialist agenda.

Democrats and their media lap-dogs immediately tried to tie DeSantis’ innocuous “monkey” remark to a racist “dog whistle.” Because, apparently, every time Democrats hear the word “monkey” they think of African-Americans. Which is sad and disturbing, especially since they use the term all the time as the previous clip proved.

“Does anybody else hear that dog whistle? It’s kind of a bullhorn,” CNN’s Don Lemon blasted over the airwaves soon after DeSantis made the remark.

“He actually said monkey this up. Sadly, it’s not even surprising anymore when one of President Trump’s supporters says something racially insensitive and if you think that was just a slip of the tongue, listen to this.”

Of course, Lemon was just doing his part to fan the flames of the racial divide the Democrats need so desperately to survive. Ironically, it’s by-and-large only Democrats who heard the so-called “dog whistle,” which should tell any free-thinking person everything they need to know.
