Huma Abedin breaks 2-year silence to join new John McCain fan club. Message reads like a joke.

The idea that liberals led the way in memorializing Sen. John McCain may say all that needs to be said about the late Republican senator’s politics.

The praise was go great that it prompted the first tweet in over two years from trusted Hillary Clinton lieutenant, Huma Abedin, who attended McCain’s funeral.

That the wife of disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner chose “character” as the theme of her return speaking for itself.

“Senator McCain once said, ‘Our reputations, our character, are the only things we leave behind when we depart this earth.’ Being in the cathedral celebrating him showed that words can only strive to capture the greatness of his character. What a legacy to leave on this earth.” Abedin tweeted.

The last time the Clinton aide tweeted was in July 2016, in recognition of the Islamic holiday Ramadan.

McCain took to the Senate floor in 2012 to defend Abedin amid claims that the aide to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was part of a Muslim Brotherhood plot to infiltrate the highest levels of the U.S. government — her family allegedly has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Arizona lawmaker said at the time the accusations were “an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable woman, a dedicated American and a loyal public servant.”

Testimony that certainly drew heat away from the longtime Clinton aide.

Abedin was captured on camera hugging Sen. Lindsey Graham, a close friend of the deceased senator, at Saturday’s services.

It certainly appears that Huma scored better seats than Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner.

And since the left has made it vogue to politicize funerals to go after rivals, social media users took advantage of the new rules to greet Abedin with a few questions:
