President Trump clapped back at his haters who colluded to collectively slam him at Senator John McCain’s week-long funeral by tweeting four simple words that trigger liberals everywhere.
“MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” the president tweeted at 6:53 p.m. Eastern time, hours after the McCain funeral (mercifully) ended after a morbid seven-day forced national mourning period.

Trump’s tweet appeared to be a response to “The View” co-host Meghan McCain, who angrily tore into the president during her eulogy when she spat: “The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great.”

For the record, it was Democratic New York governor Andrew Cuomo who said “America was never that great.”
President Trump has never minimized American excellence, and has made making — and keeping — America great his platform.
Barack Obama — who trashed Middle America for “clinging to their guns and their religion” — stepped on a rake when he said during the funeral: “So much of our politics, our public life, our public discourse can seem small and mean and petty, trafficking in bombast and insults and phony controversies and manufactured outrage.”
George W. Bush also took a dig at Trump when he said: “John could not abide bigots and swaggering despots.” Oh really?

Remember when McCain called an Iranian leader a monkey? Where was the faux liberal outrage?
So Ahmadinejad wants to be first Iranian in space – wasn't he just there last week? "Iran launches monkey into space" http://t.co/PaZKAqac

While liberals applauded the McCain funeral theater because it was a public way to attack President Trump, millions of Americans were disgusted by the maudlin week-long sendoff.
Critics said the unending funeral — whose TV coverage hijacked all the major cable news channels for 7 straight days — was contrived emotional blackmail aimed at manipulating Americans into mourning the death of a senator many disliked when he was alive. People don’t suddenly become saints just because they die.
Trump supporters saw the McCain funeral for what it was: A transparent and laughable attempt to trash President Trump, who sparred with John McCain since 2015.
Katrina Pierson, an adviser to Trump’s campaign, said it’s too bad some bitter people can never let go of old grudges — even in death.
.@realDonaldTrump ran for @POTUS ONE time and WON! Some people will never recover from that. #SorryNotSorry Yes, #MAGA 🇺🇸

As liberals celebrated Republican turncoat McCain because he obstructed and attacked President Trump, Michelle Obama was caught on camera smugly shaking her head in annoyance.
“Then she realized the camera was focused on her, so she looked away,” reporter Laura Loomer noted. “Democrats don’t care about John McCain. Look at her face.”

Candace Owens summed it up best when she quipped: “Leftist propaganda does not work on me—even when it comes in the form of a lavish funeral.”

Alex Bruesewitz pointed out that while countless American tax dollars were wasted on a week-long funeral (like the kind an emperor had back in the day), 22 veterans kill themselves every day.
“Are they also going to get three tax payer-funded funerals?”
22 veterans kill themselves each day.. are they also going to get three tax payer funded funerals?
Asking for a friend.

People in glass houses…
If you use a funeral service to launch political attacks, you should probably sit out the whole “we need to become a more civilized society and respect each other more” debate.

Thanks, Meghan McCain and Trump-haters, for making President Donald Trump the star of John McCain’s funeral! Songbird would’ve been proud.
I note that, thanks to his enemies, Trump – without even trying – managed to be the star of the McCain funeral.
And a lot of people in the establishment in the press think today was a victory for them.
Nope.

Great job putting President Trump center-stage at your own dad’s funeral, Meghan.
