White sex offender accused of urinating on a black child is a hoax. Trump gets blamed anyway.

After a report broke this week about a white Michigan man allegedly urinating on a 5-year-old black girl, liberals rushed to social media to blame the horrifying incident on President Donald.

According to initial reports, four children had been playing hide-and-go-seek outside when the suspect, local Grand Rapids resident and registered sex offender David Allen Dean, approached the child from behind, called her the n-word and urinated on her.

This prompted the unnamed child to run into the home of Katrena Rapier, the mother of the three children with whom she’d been playing.

“She came in the house and she was wet, like soaking wet, and I’m asking her what happened but she was afraid to tell me because she thought she was going to get in trouble,” Rapier said to local station WXMI. “And then I called my boys because I knew they’d tell me, and then they said the guy said ‘stupid N-word’ and started peeing on her.”

“Her hair smelled like nothing but urine and it was like soaked, her whole shirt front to back was soaked,” she added in a statement to station WWMT.

The story quickly went viral, spurring concern from local community members and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, as well as outrage from anti-Trump liberals. According to them, the blame for Dean’s alleged actions lied with the president.

Look:

While their exasperation was understandable, their rush to link Dean to the president was despicable — and not only because there was no evidence to suggest Dean is a Trump supporter. It turns out that Dean never urinated on anybody. After one of the children urinated on the unnamed girl, they “concocted the story to avoid trouble,” according to local prosecutors.

“We appreciate the conscientiousness of the parents in bringing the matter to the attention of the police, and continuing to ask their children questions as new evidence was obtained,” prosecutors said.

They also confirmed that Dean had a “verifiable alibi.”

“The community and members of the media were understandably interested and concerned about the allegations,” lead prosecutor Chris Becker said. “But this is a prime example of why it’s so important to wait until all the evidence has been gathered and the criminal investigation has been completed before jumping to any conclusions.”

Please tell that to the TDS-afflicted liberals on Twitter who blamed this incident on the president, Mr. Becker.
