President Trump trolled CNN contributor Phil Mudd by suggesting he may revoke Mudd’s security clearance, citing his countless hostile TV meltdowns — most recently at fellow CNN contributor Paris Dennard, a black conservative.
“Just watched former intelligence official Phillip Mudd become totally unglued and weird while debating wonderful Paris Dennard over Brennan’s security clearance,” Trump tweeted. “Dennard destroyed him, but Mudd is in no mental condition to have such a clearance. Should be REVOKED?”
As BizPac Review previously reported, Mudd — who was deputy director of the FBI’s national security branch under former FBI director Robert Mueller — exploded at Dennard during a panel discussion.
Dennard defended the president’s decision to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance in light of the former Obama FBI director’s history of leaking intel to the media and his repeated hostile, partisan attacks against Trump.
Members of the intelligence community are supposed to be nonpartisan and unbiased, but Brennan does not hide the fact that he’s a leftist political operative who’s actively working to undermine a sitting United States president.

Dennard said it’s wrong for retired intel officials to have continued access to national security secrets long after they leave government service simply so they can monetize it for personal profit.
“If you have a security clearance, especially a high-level security clearance, your contracts and consulting gigs pay you a lot more money because of the access that you have,” Dennard pointed out.
An angry and defensive Mudd reacted by shouting at Dennard: “We’re done. Get out!”
The hyper-defensiveness of Phil Mudd and John Brennan and their vehement opposition to President Trump’s move to pull Brennan’s access spotlights the leftist “Security Clearance Gravy Train” that these former top intel officers are passionately defending.
Fox News host Sean Hannity laid out a case-by-case analysis for why Mudd, Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Peter Strzok, and others should lose their security clearance.
Access to classified national security secrets is a privilege; it is not a right guaranteed under the Constitution.
Tellingly, the mainstream media didn’t whine when Barack Obama directed his DNI chief James Clapper to review removing security clearances from a list nearly 5 million Americans, citing national security.

John Brennan was the CIA director under Obama who pulled the security clearance of Benghazi hero Kris Paronto and his team after they refused to go along with Hillary Clinton’s lie that the 2012 Islamic terrorist attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi was due to an anti-Muslim video.
