‘I beg this happens’: Hannity and Trump dare Brennan to sue over revoked security clearance

Sean Hannity is excited at the prospect that former CIA Director John Brennan may bring a lawsuit against the Trump administration.

“I beg this happens,” the Fox News host said Monday in his opening monologue, reacting to Brennan’s comments about his revoked security clearance.

“If my reputation, as I’m being pulled through the mud now, if that’s the price we’re going to pay to prevent Donald Trump from doing this against other people, to me it’s a small price to pay,”  Brennan said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” Sunday. “If it means going to court, I will do that.”

President Trump responded to the “worst CIA Director in our country’s history” tweeting that he didn’t believe Brennan would follow through.

Hannity echoed Trump’s sentiments, relishing the possibility that Brennan would go forward with his threat.

“Reasonable people, have reasonable disagreements, but it is clear, his rhetoric alone is not fitting of a current CIA employee,” Hannity said.  “He’s now threatening to sue the Trump administration. This I beg happens. Sue. Please.”

“I would love to see that discovery,  unless he used BleachBit and hammers,” he added. “It’ll give us the perfect opportunity to see what’s going on inside all of this.”

Hannity spoke about other high-ranking officials who should also have their security clearance revoked by the president, explaining that “it pays to have a security clearance” as many leverage it for financial gain.
