Alyssa Milano protests in handmaid outfit; James Woods kicks off most delicious meme fest

Actress Alyssa Milano unpacked her Halloween costume to protest President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in another hollow, virtue-signaling gesture.

Milano posted a photo of herself dressed up as a character from “The Handmaids Tale” while holding the sign “Never Kavanaugh, Never Gilead,” a reference to the oppressive dystopian society on the Hulu TV series.

Milano was participating in the “Rise Up for Roe” pro-abortion tour in Phoenix, Arizona, this weekend. The handmaid costume has become a left-wing symbol for abortion rights, which liberals claim would be attacked if federal judge Brett Kavanaugh is confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Liberals have noisily pushed the narrative that conservative judges want to overturn Roe v. Wade, when in reality that is settled case law that’s unlikely to be overturned.

The media — led by liberal activists like CNN’s Jake Tapper (whose wife was a Planned Parenthood executive) — have slammed Brett Kavanaugh because he’s President Trump’s nominee.

As it is, Kavanaugh has an easy path to SCOTUS confirmation because Republicans have enough votes in the Senate to confirm him without help from obstructionist Democrats.

Moreover, Kavanaugh was already confirmed by the Senate in 2006 by a bipartisan vote of 57-36 when he was appointed to his current post as a federal appellate judge on the D.C. Circuit.

If Democrats thought Kavanaugh was such a threat to women, why did only 36 of them oppose his confirmation 12 years ago?

Alyssa Milano has a history of making inane statements about political issues that are beyond her intellectual ken, as BizPac Review has reported.

If Milano were a true women’s rights activist, why has she remained silent about the mass oppression of women in Islamic countries? Why has Milano not protested female genital mutilation, acid attacks on women as punishment for disobeying men, or the Muslim rape epidemic roiling Europe?

Why doesn’t Alyssa champion the rights of women who get threatened with jail time for wanting to take their hijab off? (see video below, where a Muslim cleric threatens to have a woman arrested because her head scarf doesn’t cover all her hair).

If Milano is a true advocate for women’s rights, why has she not disavowed Democratic congressman Keith Ellison, the vice chair of the DNC, who was accused of domestic violence by two former girlfriends? Where’s the liberal outrage?

Former Muslim Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born Dutch activist, has blasted Western feminists (like Alyssa) for not condemning Muslim nations’ brutal oppression of women, as BizPac Review previously reported.

“One would think that Western feminists in the United States and Europe would be very disturbed by this obvious misogyny. But sadly, with few exceptions, this does not appear to be the case,” Hirsi Ali said.

Hirsi Ali, who survived female genital mutilation at age 5, has to have 24-hour security protection because she constantly gets death threats from angry Muslims for criticizing radical Islam.

Instead of opining on things she knows nothing about, Alyssa Milano should worry about making sure she doesn’t end up in jail for tax evasion.

As BizPac Review has reported, Milano admitted that she failed to pay her income taxes for 2013 and 2014; didn’t make mortgage payments on her West Hollywood condo, and neglected to pay her employees’ taxes.

As a result, Alyssa revealed in court filings that she and her husband are “millions of dollars in debt and their credit is in ruins.” But Milano insists that American should take advice from her.

Meanwhile, Milano’s handmaid costume got hilariously lampooned on social media, with a little encouragement from actor James Woods.
