Brian Williams insults viewers and all of America with PATHETIC segment on Trump and dogs

MSNBC host Brian Williams stretched his journalistic muscles with a ridiculous segment falsely claiming that President Donald Trump has only been photographed with one dog.

Under the guise of investigating Trump’s history with canines and his use of the word “dog,” Williams examined during “The 11th Hour” on Tuesday whether the president actually dislikes man’s best friend since an “extensive search” of a “few minutes” turned up only one photo.

“Does this president really physically not like dogs?” he asked his guest, Washington Post’s Philip Rucker, on Tuesday in reaction to Trump calling former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman a “dog.”

“He’s actually the first president in more than 100 years who has not had a dog as a pet in the White House,” Rucker replied before claiming that the only dog Trump ever owned did not even like him.

This is journalism at MSNBC.

To drive home the fake news, Williams continued the mockery with proof.

“We launched an extensive web search that took us at least a few minutes and could only find one photo in all the land of Donald Trump with a dog,” he said.

“Check out the expression on the Scottie’s face here,” he added.  “But this is — this was the ‘Best in Show’ at the Westminster Show a couple years back in Trump’s now famous office in Trump Tower. Let’s call that a mutual admiration society.”

NBC News should probably look into expanding its challenged research department. Williams was left with egg on his face after The Reagan Battalion released a video following their own simple web search.

The group slammed the MSNBC host for not having any respect for his viewers.

“Why in the world would a news anchor simply lie about something as unimportant and stupid as this?” another tweet asked. “Because he is lazy and does not have an ounce of respect for his viewers.”

The segment continued with a ridiculous analysis of Trump’s relationship with actual dogs and his use of the word as an insult.

“Well, clearly he’s not comfortable living with animals in the house,” Rucker declared after Williams noted that the president is a “germaphobe.”

The lighter tone turned serious as Rucker then incredibly linked the president’s behavior to Hitler and Nazis. Naturally.

“It’s deadly serious what he does with that word. Using it as an attack. He’s dehumanizing his enemies. That’s the goal there. There’s a long history actually of authoritarian leaders who have used these animalistic slurs as insults to dehumanize individuals or groups of people. During the Holocaust the Nazis would call Jews rats,” Rucker pontificated.

“There’s a pattern here through history I think Donald Trump is smart enough and strategic enough to know what he’s doing by repeatedly using the dog, the imagery of a dog as a slur to attack his perceived political enemies,” he concluded.
