Fox News’ Laura Ingraham took to social media to ask a question of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey that millions on the right would love to see answered.
Ingraham referenced a disgusting tweet from Mark Roberts, an independent running for Congress in Oregon’s 2nd congressional district, saying first lady Melania Trump “worked by the hour.” The tweet included the hashtags #thinkdirty and #hoebag.

Of course, the basis of Ingraham’s question is from past practice, where Twitter has intervened and suspended accounts for hate speech — and it doesn’t get much more hateful than calling President Donald Trump’s graceful wife a whore.

As classless as the tweet is, Roberts, who considers himself to be an “independent conservative,” effectively doubled down on it in a response to Ingraham, citing the First Amendment.
He included a screenshot of Twitter saying they found “no violations” in the original tweet, which is still up.

What did Mrs. Trump do to deserve this smear? Apparently, being a woman. And the left want’s to call President Trump a misogynist?
When a social media user reminded Roberts the Trumps successfully sued the Daily Mail for reporting that Melania once worked as an escort, he turned his hate-filled venom on President Trump.
“I invite that hosebag to sue me,” tweeted Roberts, who would thrive on the added notoriety.

But if the shoe were on the other foot and this attack was directed at the former first lady, Michelle Obama, who was treated like a goddess by the left, would the outcome be the same from Twitter?
Donald Trump Jr. tagged Dempsey to ask that very question, noting that if the attack came from the right, the Twitter account would have surely been deactivated.
“Imagine if a conservative tweeted this. Imagine if anyone said this horrific statement about Michelle Obama,” he tweeted. “Their life would ruined and account deactivated. Twitter is becoming a platform for hate against conservatives @jack.”

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., also tagged Dorsey, declaring that Roberts should be “banned” from the social media site.

Speaking if Mrs. Obama, Roberts was responding to a tweet from Charlie Kirk, the founder and president of Turning Point USA, who noted the difference between her staff and that of her successor, Melania Trump.
“Did you know: There are thirty-nine fewer staffers dedicated to The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) than under Obama. There are only five staffers dedicated to Melania Trump vs. forty-four staffers who served Michelle Obama,” he tweeted.

So, not only is Mrs. Trump doing a fantastic job as first lady, according to the polls, but she is pulling it off while saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“First lady Melania Trump might have the best favorability rating of anyone in or close to the White House, similar to Michelle Obama’s favorability in 2010,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, back in June.
