‘This is classic!’ Trump trolls Hillary Clinton with a priceless clip of her Russia-loving years

While the liberal media has forgotten about the favorable overtures toward Russia during the Obama years, a represented by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s infamous “reset button,” President Donald Trump has not.

Being bludgeoned by the press over his stance toward Russia, Trump shared a video clip of Clinton talking about strengthening Russia.

“Will the Dems and Fake News ever learn? This is classic!” the president tweeted.

“We want very much to have a strong Russia because a strong, confident, prosperous, stable Russia is, we think, in the interests of the world,” Clinton said in the 2010 clip of an interview with a TV station partially owned by the Russian government.

This sentiment echoed the position of her boss at the time, President Barack Obama, who spoke of a “deep respect for Russia’s timeless heritage” during a 2009 speech at the New Economic School in Moscow, with Obama saying the world benefits “from a strong and vibrant Russia.”

Further exposing the bias being seen today by a backward looking media is another clip of Clinton calling Russia an “ally” in 2012, saying that it’s “somewhat dated to be looking backwards” in our relationship with Moscow.

This little gem was posted on Twitter by the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra:

Turns out, Hillary took exception to being trolled by President Trump and responded with a video clip of her own hitting him for his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The difference being, the soundbite is from a 2016 stump speech when Clinton was up against Trump for president.

Clinton noted that the comments Trump shared were made when Dmitry Medvedev was president of Russia — not that the entire world didn’t understand he was but a place holder until Putin was eligible to run again.

Lost in mix is that the Russian meddling at the center of the controversy was taking place under the Obama administration, even as then President Obama declared that “no serious person” would suggest that “you could even rig America’s elections.”

Here a sampling of responses from social media users to the latest media-drummed hysteria over Trump and his actions:

And lest we forget…
