Chuck Todd calls Kavanaugh ‘very confirmable’ but Jake Tapper’s 2-word description is head-scratching

President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court justice has become something of a litmus test to screen out which media outlets are incorrigibly biased and which actually try to call things as they see them.

Case in point: The differing reactions of NBC News host Chuck Todd and CNN host Jake Tapper. While both Todd and Tapper are anti-Trump liberals, Todd took a rational approach to the SCOTUS nomination, saying Kavanaugh is “very confirmable.” That’s a sentiment widely shared on Capitol Hill.

“I think this is a pick that is a very confirmable pick,” Todd said. “Brett Kavanaugh has already gotten the support once of the two moderate Republican Senators: Murkowski and Collins. So he’ll likely get it again.”

Todd was referencing the fact that Kavanaugh was already confirmed by the Senate when he was appointed to his current post as a federal appellate judge on the D.C. Circuit in 2006.

Todd pointing out that Kavanaugh faces an easy confirmation from Senate Republicans doesn’t mean he personally supports Trump’s SCOTUS nominee. It means Chuck is acknowledging the fact that Republicans have enough votes in the Senate to confirm Kavanaugh without any help from obstructionist Democrats.

Meanwhile, CNN’s Jake Tapper reacted by immediately labeling federal judge Brett Kavanaugh a “political operative.” It’s doubtful that Tapper had read all of Kavanaugh judicial opinions or even met him before his rush to judgment.

Jake’s wife Jennifer Tapper is a former regional field manager for Planned Parenthood, so perhaps this colors his judgment in his “news” coverage.

“[Kavanaugh is] “a political operative” who works “in the worlds of conservative lawyers, conservative operators,” Tapper said. “And this is where I think it’s going to be very contentious in the Senate.”

Tapper then tried to buttress his claims by invoking obstructionist Senator Chuck Schumer: “More than a decade ago, when he was up for his first judgeship, Schumer referred to Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination as not just a dash of salt in the partisan wounds, but the whole shaker.”

At this point, millions of Americans know that the mainstream media are no longer objectively reporting the facts, but is pushing liberal propaganda masquerading as “news.”

Trump supporters were aware of the knee-jerk reaction that today’s radical liberals would have to anyone President Trump nominated to the Supreme Court.

As BizPac Review has reported, Fox News was forced to cancel a live show on the steps of the Supreme Court because anchor Shannon Bream felt unsafe amid the unruly protesters who had gathered outside the courthouse.

“Very few times I’ve felt threatened while out in the field,” Bream said. “The mood here tonight is very volatile…Where are we?”

Meanwhile, here’s what viewers think of CNN’s virulent anti-Trump agenda.

By all means, CNN, please keep doing what you’re doing.
