Actor James Woods encountered some personal fireworks on the Fourth of July courtesy of his “liberal” talent agent.
The outspoken conservative received an email from his agent, Ken Kaplan, who announced he was “feeling patriotic” and no longer wanted to represent him.
A screenshot of the email with the subject line “Well…” was shared by the Oscar-nominated actor on his Twitter account.

Woods returned a classy response to Kaplan, who he described as a “political liberal.”

It is not clear if Kaplan was dropping the 71-year-old actor because of his political views but Woods announced last year that he was being “blacklisted” by Hollywood due to his personal politics.
The veteran actor with a more than three-decade long film career, has received three Emmy Awards and been nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor in the 1986 film “Salvador,” and for Best Supporting Actor in the 1996 film “Ghosts of Mississippi.”
Woods has been a vocal critic of the left, decimating them regularly on social media with scathing, no-nonsense tweets and commentary.
Some of his more than 1.5 million Twitter followers encouraged Woods after his tweet and slammed his former agent for not being a “real man.”
