Insane video of Andy Dick ‘groping’ Ivanka Trump resurfaces months after he’s charged for sexual battery

The bizarre incident where actor and comedian Andy Dick groped Ivanka Trump in 2007 on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” takes on new meaning upon the report that Dick has been charged with groping a woman on a Los Angeles street earlier this year.

In the segment, Dick and Trump are Kimmel’s guests and Dick is fixated on Trump’s legs.

“You don’t play up the glitter on your legs?” he says, before trying to feel her up — to Trump’s credit, she a good sport about it as she laughs and slaps away his hand.

“Andy, please don’t touch Ivanka,” Kimmel says as he gets up. “Donald Trump will kill both of us.”

Soon thereafter, “security” arrives and drags Dick off the stage, with Kimmel lending a hand.

The incident had a very staged feel to it, but Kimmel played it up in a later interview with “Extra.”

“Andy did a segment, he was a little out of it,” Kimmel said. “She (Ivanka) came out… he wanted a big, wet kiss. It was time for Andy to go, so I escorted him out by his feet.”

Dick referred to the incident in December 2017 on Instagram, using it to take a swipe at President Trump.

“The time I ‘groped’ Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, on Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the caption read. “Her legs were sparkling, and I was trying to see if the glitter would wipe off. I also mistakenly thought she would date me. I was jokingly carried off by security. Is anybody going to carry Trump off? No joke. Confusing times.”

Dick faces charges of misdemeanor sexual battery after a woman reported that he groped her on April 5, according to USA Today. Dick is scheduled to be arraigned on July 18.

Turns out, this is not his first go round with legal troubles over groping.

“Dick has been arrested and sued over several groping accusations including a 2010 incident involving a bouncer and patron at a West Virginia bar,” USA Today reported. “Criminal charges were dismissed after Dick completed a pretrial diversion program.”

The Daily Mail included a photo in its reporting of Dick actually groping a woman:

The Hollywood Reporter also reported that Dick was fired in October 2017 from the set of “Vampire Dad” on the very first day of filming due to “multiple, flagrant acts of improper conduct and inappropriate contact with several crew members.”

All of which make the Kimmel incident stand out even more, where the disturbing behavior was used as a prop to get laughs.
