‘Zero chance’: Trump answers Dems’ new demand to abolish ICE. Then he shows he has the agents’ backs

President Donald Trump fired back at those calling to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement, declaring there is “zero chance” it will ever happen.

Democrats have been openly demanding for ICE to be reorganized or completely abolished and Trump made it clear in a series of tweets that would not be happening on his watch.

The president defended the federal law-enforcement agency and praised the efforts of ICE officials in the battle against the violent gang, MS-13.

Trump encouraged the “great and brave men and women of ICE” to not worry as he has their backs.

Senators Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Kamala Harris of California are among the Democrats calling for an end to ICE.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal even managed to get herself arrested at a march and sit-in on Capitol Hill Thursday where hundreds were joined by Senators Elizabeth Warren, Richard Blumenthal, Tammy Duckworth, and Ed Markey to protest ICE and the administration’s immigration policies.
