‘You leave my husband alone!’ Elaine Chao fiercely protects hubby Mitch McConnell from angry ‘soy boy’ protesters

Who knew Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s wife was such a bad ass?

Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, McConnell wife of 25 years, confronted a small group of unhinged Democrat protesters — dare we call them Maxine Waters’ brigade — who ambushed her husband Tuesday as he departed an event held at Georgetown University.

“Why don’t you leave my husband alone?” Chao said to the group of men, getting right up in their faces.

The protesters asked McConnell why he was “separating families,” in reference to the Trump administration’s zero tolerance” policy toward illegal immigration, where families were being separated after adult members were arrested for entering the country illegally — President Trump ended the practice of separating the families last week with an executive order.

“He’s not,” a feisty Chao insisted, in response to the charge. “You leave him alone!”

While it may be a dangerous prospect, Chao all but went toe-to-toe with the men as she shoved a finger in their faces.

One of the protesters posted a video of the encounter on social media, and could not have been more open about the left’s open border goal, including hashtags calling for abolishing U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as “freedom” for illegal immigrants.

The incident appears to be the first since Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif, called for a campaign of harassment and intimidation against Trump administration officials.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters said on Saturday.

Her irresponsible call, which was rebuked by Democratic leadership, was a response to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders being refused service last week at the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was also accosted while having dinner at a Mexican restaurant last week by an angry mob of democratic socialists, to include a Justice Department employee.

The Trump administration official was eventually forced to leave the establishment.

There was but one resounding theme on social media following the incident and it wasn’t working in favor of the soy boy protestors:
