White House press secretary Sarah Sanders’ family was stalked, surrounded, and threatened by an angry mob shortly after they were kicked out of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, last week.
Sanders’ father Mike Huckabee told Fox Business: “A little-known part of this story is that after Sarah and her husband left and the family relocated to a restaurant across the street, the owner of the Red Hen organized an effort to go and scream at them from the sidewalk at the other restaurant.”
Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, continued: “Finally, one of Sarah’s in-laws — who happens to be very liberal — went out in the street and said, ‘Look, Sarah’s already left. She didn’t stay for obvious reasons. The rest of us are trying to have dinner. I’m a liberal. I’m not a Trump supporter. But you guys aren’t helping our cause.'”
Huckabee added: “So it wasn’t just what happened in the Little Red Hen restaurant. It’s what happened ongoing by the owner of that restaurant.”
Stephanie Wilkinson, the owner of Red Hen, kicked Sarah Sanders, her children, and her in-laws out of her restaurant to virtue-signal and “protest” longstanding federal immigration laws.
Wilkinson hypocritically hangs a sign in the window of her eatery touting the need to love your enemies, even as she kicked a family out.
She also runs a website for moms whose goal is “to bring together the many voices of women from different backgrounds, circumstances, and experiences.” You can’t make this up, folks.
Keep in mind that liberals like Wilkinson did not protest when the Obama administration separated children from their illegal-immigrant parents during his eight years in office.
They also ignored reports that his administration beat and starved the kids.
Under President Trump, the children of illegals are being treated far more humanely than under Barack Obama. The situation is not ideal, but it has improved dramatically.
Lawmakers should do their jobs by passing immigration reform that will prevent illegals from risking their children’s lives by entering the United States unlawfully.
A border wall will help tremendously, since even the fittest criminal can’t scale a 30-foot wall carrying several kids on his back.
