US Navy reportedly drafting plans to house up to 25,000 illegal immigrant families, but consider the source …

The US Navy is reportedly drafting plans to house up to 25,000 people in furtherance of the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy toward illegal immigration.

Amid the media-generated hysteria last week, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to keep illegal immigrant families together, but will continue to hold those who enter the country illegally accountable to US law, thus the manufactured outrage continuing from the left, who deceptively advocate for open borders.

Ask Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the Democratic National Committee deputy chair who recently wore a T-shirt at a May Day protest that read, “Yo no creo en fronteras.”

English translation: “I don’t believe in borders.”

The estimated cost for the Navy’s efforts is about $233 million over six months, a US official said, according to the New York Post.

The story was first reported by Time Magazine, which ran with — and stands by — a deceptive cover of President Trump towering over a crying illegal immigrant child — the problem being that the child was never separated from her mother, and had only been put down for a few seconds while a border patrol agent frisked the woman.

More from Time:

The Navy memo outlines plans to build “temporary and austere” tent cities to house 25,000 migrants at abandoned airfields just outside the Florida panhandle near Mobile, Alabama, at Navy Outlying Field Wolf in Orange Beach, Alabama, and nearby Navy Outlying Field Silverhill.

The memo also proposes a camp for as many as 47,000 people at former Naval Weapons Station Concord, near San Francisco; and another facility that could house as many as 47,000 people at Camp Pendleton, the Marines’ largest training facility located along the Southern California coast. The planning memo proposes further study of housing an undetermined number of migrants at the Marine Corps Air Station near Yuma, Arizona.

The irony here is that Democrats are sure to complain about the conditions of the camps, even as they look past the perils of migrants trekking to the southern border as a result of our history of lax enforcement of immigration laws, with hundreds dying along the way and women so routinely raped that parents give their daughters birth control pills to prevent them getting pregnant,

It’s important to note that the Navy has not been asked to provide housing for illegal immigrants as of yet.

The anonymous official who spoke with The Post stressed that the draft memo was for planning purposes only.
