Fox News contributor Rachel Campos-Duffy and Laura Ingraham slammed the media’s obsessive search for a “hidden meaning” behind First Lady Melania Trump’s jacket that bore the logo “I really don’t care. Do u?”
Campos-Duffy said it’s absurd that of all the stunning outfits Melania has worn, the media focused on a $39 Zara jacket she wore while boarding the plane in Maryland hours after visiting a Texas shelter for illegal-immigrant children.
“All the amazing outfits that she’s worn, they never write about at all,” Campos-Duffy said. “She makes one misstep [and it’s a major news story].”
Rachel is a Mexican-American who’s married to Republican Congressman Sean Duffy. Campos-Duffy conceded that as a political wife herself, she wouldn’t have worn the jacket because it gave the media fodder to attack Melania with.
But she said the press discredited itself again by yammering on about Mrs. Trump’s jacket instead of focusing on the shelter she visited.

Melania wore a different outfit when she visited the Texas facility for illegals. Hours later, the first lady donned the $39 jacket while boarding a plane in Maryland — long after she had left Texas.
So if there was a “hidden meaning” behind the jacket’s logo, it clearly had nothing to do with her shelter visit.

President Donald Trump joked that Melania was trolling the press with the jacket’s cheeky logo.
He tweeted: “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” written on the back of Melania’s jacket refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!”
Mrs. Trump’s rep quipped: “If media would spend their time and energy on her actions and efforts to help kids – rather than speculate and focus on her wardrobe – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children.”

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra blasted CNN hack Jim Acosta for attacking Melania’s fashion choices.
Saavedra tweeted: “She did not wear the jacket while visiting the kids in Texas, she wore it as she was boarding a plane in Maryland. Why did you not make this distinction in your tweet, @Acosta?”

Even a liberal Bloomberg reporter conceded that Melania did not wear the jacket anywhere near the Texas shelter, and suggested she was targeting the media with the “I really don’t care” logo.
